Horrible interaction with the owner of this store today. I went to pay for 4 items using my PayPal Business MC, she entered the chip and almost immediately my phone alerted that I had just paid New Moon Antiques: 9/26/24, 12:21 PM; 4TB46169LX4732232 NEW MOON ANTIQUES $26.56 USD However, PayPal immediately canceled due to unsecure transaction. I did not see this and only found out on my way home when I called PayPal. The woman said it did not go through to which I showed her my phone alert. She tried again and same thing, 'It did NOT go through! Raising her voice. We went back and forth, her yelling and me totally confused. I asked why she was yelling at me and she replied, 'BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME! IT DID NOT GO THROUGH! JUST TAKE YOUR STUFF AND GO! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY ME THAT'S FINE! JUST GO!" I could not believe what I was hearing as well as other customers. I finally used my personal banking card and it went through fine. I asked for the two transaction receipts to take a screen shot because she wouldn't give me one so I could try and resolve what happened. As I was leaving she gave a lame excuse that she had been sick and I was supposed to accept that as a valid reason for being treated so poorly in a retail space that I will absolutely never set foot in again. It's a shame because it's a great antique store from what I saw. Not a good business...

New Moon Antiques has some of the best deals on antiques and vintage home goods in TN. Their booths are a mix of eclectic and traditional southern. They have a huge upstairs with 20+ booths as well as over 40 booths downstairs. There is truly something for everyone. Some of my favorite finds there were antique wooden bowls, retro glassware and serving dishes, vintage textiles, beautiful vintage jewelry, antique books, and antique Christmas ornaments. They have a lot of beautiful furniture pieces and lots of home goods. Stop by next time you're passing through Lawrenceburg - it's totally worth it! Bought several items. When I was taking items to the counter I double checked each item to make sure they were in perfect condition. I bought so many things that the person at the counter put them in a big box, when I got home and started unpacking the box my hand was burning and bleeding (I had a deep cut in two fingers) one of the items broke when she was putting it in the box, she wrapped it with scotch tape but, did not bother to tell me what had happen.
