Square-Forty Restaurant — Restaurant in Lawrenceburg

Worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. A server came over to take my order, and I was going to order a la carte, and she looks at me, and said man I don't have time for this. And then walks away. I said to her, I'm sorry, but you have a bad attitude, she said, I don't care, you can just leave., If I didn't like her attitude. I then asked for the owner, and at that time, he wasn't there, so I left. I did a follow up call to the owner, and to my surprise, he didn't care either. I'm shocked, that as a consumer, to come into a restaurant, to spend my money, to sit down for some breakfast, and take this kind of service, and attitude, from people, who work in this restaurant, and own this restaurant, is unbelievable, and unexpectable, in a place of business. I just wanted to order something from the a la carte menu. I would not recommend this restaurant to any consumer, that wants to spend there hard earned money. I'm 68 years old, and never been treated like this in my life. This is very sad. Please don't go to this restaurant. The people there, do not care, about anything. We walked in with 10 people all from out of town escaping the hurricane in Florida. When we walked in the lady in the front was semi pleasant however when we sat down to order, the waitress was EXTREMELY RUDE. She took out drink order which included coffee and when it arrived, the coffee cups were dirty and she literally threw the creamer on the table and walked away. She then came with menus which were also thrown down on the table in front of us.

Google said that the facility had breakfast till 2pm which we tried to order. Even on their menu it said "breakfast till 2pm."

We asked and the waitress told us we're not serving breakfast to which we said "both Google and your menu says breakfast till 2pm." She said, "I don't care what it says, we're not serving breakfast to you."

I'm not sure if they're more racist, as the majority of us were dark skinned or maybe it was my tattoos but in any event, we were made very aware we weren't welcome there.

I definitely would not recommend this place for any out of towners, anyone of a race other than white or if you have tattoos. We instead went to Shoney's which had excellent service, and very...

Do you like country cooking?  Well, the food is delicious and pleasant southern charm of this Southern restaurant has left me speechless today.

A meat in three?  No.  This is an all you can eat cafeteria style dining where you can go back up as many times as you wish.  On top of that, you can get a to go box for your left overs.

How much you ask?  This all you can eat food, drink and desert, including the tax, is only $9.00.

If you live within an hour or so of this downtown Lawrenceburg hidden treasure, you know where you might find me. :)

If you see me inside come on by and say hi. Oh yes, possibly the friendliest and sweetest person I have met in the service industry is a lady by the name of Brenda. Brenda is a waitress and one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Be sure to ask for her and treat her well.
