First day I went in the shop, I told them I wanted the underglow, tires, and 6inch tint. The tint was fine, thanks to Gabriel, awesome guy. I told the owner I wanted underglow, and he showed me the lights and how they reacted to music, etc & he tells me they’re $250. So I come back the next day to have everything done and somehow to owner didn’t know UNDERglow meant UNDER the car and then proceeds to tell me it’s $550. He thought underglow meant inside the car. It’s frustrating to be told one thing and then the next day there’s a $300 increase because of lack of knowledge and poor communication. So then before the put on my new wheels I tell the lady, who is also awesome, to tell them to make sure they put my OLD tire sensors into the new wheels im getting. Not too hard to comprehend right? Wrong. I had to make a trip an hour away after they did everything and about 1/4 of the way there my PSI goes out and the service tire error comes up. So I call them and the owner tells me just let it program itself because they’re new wheels. So I left it alone the rest of the day. A few days later I return back to Audio FX and the owner takes me across to goodyear where they try to calibrate my car and the sensors. It works; but yet again goes away halfway down the road, which I was also traveling back an hour away again. So since I’m an hour away, I have to go to different tire shops and they try to read it and they can’t even get their systems to read the sensors and if it does it just goes away again. So 2 days later( closed on sunday ) i call and tell them they need to take my old sensors and put them in my new wheels like i asked the first time. and they said yea we can do that whenever you come in. So I go back home the next day, and as I’m 20ish minutes away from the shop I call and the owner answers and I tell him I’m almost there to have my sensors swapped. And he’s like what? You need to make an appointment. At this point i’m heated and annoyed. If you would’ve just put them in there like I asked the first time I wouldn’t have to go through all this trouble in the first place. So I tell him just the other day y’all said I could come in and have it done just bring it. And he said “ ok? “ and laughed. So I told him I’ll just take it somewhere else and hang up. Never going back there again. I had to end up paying $120 to have sensors taken out and put in new wheels. Not the end of the world cuz i will sell my old wheels, but it’s just the principle and a waste of...
Read moreThis guy has been a nightmare to deal with. I recently took my car to FX Audio to get a couple of items installed for which he has done a couple of simple tasks for me before so I ask if he could change out a aftermarket steering wheel for me on my 2020 Tundra and I ask him was he qualified to do so and replied yes sure I have done many steering wheels. But later after the install my truck was returned to me with faults light on and my power steps in the down position. He reconnects the power steps to work but the fault lights are still on and he tells me to just drive it and the codes would clear itself . 50 miles later fault light still on and he admits he never change a steering wheel on a Toyota period. He tells me to take my truck to the dealership because he did the work to Toyota standards, but I did not give him my truck that way so no accountability for his wrongs being the owner David Chilin. Frustrated that he couldn't fix his wrong I took it to Luminex which is a excellent company for all your accessory work for your car and they fixed it. BTW they are located @ G 4450 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lilburn , Ga 30047. Turns out they damage my clock spring changing the steering wheel which cause the fault lights not to clear. They also damaged my front window shield tint throwing and sitting a component from the truck on the dash caught by my dash cam and David still denies it. So I get it fix by Luminex and takes FX Audio the receipt and he refuse to pay for the damages his business inflected by giving my truck back with fault code lights on that he couldn't fix. I have been insulted and even threaten to get out of paying for his business wrongs. I went a week with no solution from him so when I get someone else to fix it he's has a...
Read moreI came in trying to install an infotainment display in my old Lexus LS, as well as fixing a buzz in one speaker. What I got back was arguably a worse system, my speakers were not working in front anymore, and my subwoofer was disconnected, I was also not able to connect to Android auto, but that wasn't the biggest deal as long as Bluetooth worked, and I could listen to music. When I spoke on the issues and turned it in a second time, my sub was connected, but the front speakers still didn't work, and my door lock almost got stuck shut (it's still very rough to operate). I then noticed that my carpeting was scrunched up in my foot well, I'm guessing to make room for wiring, and my backseat was never put back on. After the third time of turning it in, I realized they weren't going to fix their mistakes, my backseat row is still not patched in place, my foot well looks terrible, my lock is still rough, and to be honest, the speakers simply don't sound as good as before, although I get to hear my sub more without fear of blowing out the front speakers. All my sound in front is going through the tweeters. This was immensely disappointing, and the start of the degradation of my beautiful car. I thought this place did good work based on the rating, but it was shotty at best, with no care for quality, just in and out the door. Needless to say I would try a fourth time, but I want to keep my car somewhat nice and I'll take it to more professional shops next...
