I really love shopping here. The clothes are unique and nice. The clearance deals are pretty good and convenient. My absolute favorite thing about rainbow is that whether you fit standard sizes (small, medium, large) or plus sizes up to about 4XL, you don't have to sacrifice style. It's one of the few places you can shop with your friends of diverse sizes without anyone feeling uncomfortable and I think that's really inclusive of them.
However, as a person with a horrible anxiety disorder, having to talk to an employee every three items that I want to try on in the dressing room almost makes me want to save the energy and shop somewhere else. It is a pain, but I am understanding of why they have policies like that in place though. I guess there must have been a thievery problem or something of that nature because they did not always do things that way.
The employees are almost startlingly fast with keeping the clothes sorted and in order. It seems like if you put something down and look away, it will be back neatly wherever you found it. Understandably, they seemed exhausted when I interacted with them. I felt really bad to keep bothering them about unlocking the dressing room because they were all so clearly working hard at other tasks. Actually, I probably would have spent more time there and bought a lot more things if I was able to keep to myself and not so often have to interrupt employees and draw attention to myself. For how busy they clearly are multitasking, their customer service is really good and the employees are...
Read moreI LOVE LOVE LOVE Rainbow! I have at least 3 go-to's for shopping/retail theraphy and Rainbow is my #1. I live closes to this location, however, I also frequent the Sugarloaf Mill and Gwinnett Dr. locations in Lawrenceville, GA. I recently noticed the Sugarloaf Mill and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd. locations seem to have in-store many of the new items I see online. I like going into a store to shop. Therefore, when I receive text messages and/or emails featuring new releases, I make my way to either of the locations I mentioned. This location is convenient, clean, very organized, the staff is friendly, they play excellent music (local radio) while you shop, which I like. The vibe is nice, the inventory is trendy. I am really feeling this Fall season's collection. I totally recommend Rainbow. I live on a pretty type budget, yet I am still...
Read moreVery disappointing experience. I came in ready to make several purchases but was shocked to learn that Rainbow does not allow customers to try on clothes. The staff told me it’s a “corporate policy” and that no fitting rooms are open. How are customers supposed to know if items fit before buying? This makes shopping extremely inconvenient and discourages purchases — especially since sizing can vary so much.
It’s frustrating to see a clothing store with fitting rooms that are completely closed off to customers. I ended up walking out without buying anything because I refuse to spend money blindly. Unless this policy changes, I won’t...
