I had to drive over an hour to get here and I will 🚗drive an hour there and back all over again just for this restaurant. I would like to start by saying that I do food reviews around the Metro Atlanta area to tell you the truth behind these restaurants and things people wouldn’t usually tell you. Everything I say is truthful and if I don’t like it, I will let you know. I honestly came in here with the hopes that it was at least okay so my expectations were pretty. I have high expectations of how 🍜Vietnamese food should taste as I am Vietnamese. I didn’t want to come in with high expectations and be disappointed, but I thought wrong. I created my own pho With meatballs and beef flank, it was roughly about $17 for my medium. The noodles that they use are exactly how they are back at the motherland They are thick like fettuccine noodles, but they are rice noodles so they are very light and delicate like udon noodles. They gave me so much noodles that if you would’ve told me, this was a large at any other place. I would’ve believed it so they give you a lot of food for what you pay for. I’ve always had to dress up my pho With either hoisin sauce and Sriracha, but this right here I didn’t have to add anything. The broth was so flavorful on its own That I was so impressed I didn’t add anything. Now that speaks volume. Next up was the com bo luc lac I opted for the fried rice 🍚option to add onions With my beef and it was amazing they accommodated for me and they did not let me down. The beef was so flavorful You could tell the marinade was perfect. The beef itself was not overcooked either. It was perfect. The fried rice probably one of the best fried rice I’ve ever had at a Vietnamese restaurant That I didn’t even have to use fish sauce as like you would need it at every other restaurant. Their fried rice actually had egg ribbons in it compared to just being tossed in soy sauce. Next step is the shrimp, broken rice whatever they seasoned the shrimp was it was amazing. I never get shrimp anywhere at a Vietnamese restaurant. I usually opt for the pork or Beef but they may have persuaded me there once again did not need the fish sauce for the rice. We also ordered two black milk teas and they do come with tapioca. Boba included in the price and that was amazing as well. spouse is very hard to please with Boba and they were very happy. there is a language barrier with that is a given as they are from another country and their English is pretty broken. but other than that, this is the best customer service I have received at a Vietnamese restaurant. They usually just take your order bring out your food and never come back to your table, but this place here multiple people came up to me asked how everything was that I need anything. How did the food taste? They wanted to make sure my experience was pleasurable. even with the language barrier, they were able to provide a better service than people who speaks English well. So please be patient if they ask you to repeat or they repeat to clarify they’re just trying to make sure they get it right the first time. they are also still new and just opening so they are still trying to work on the flow of the restaurant so please give them grace on that as well. You can tell that they’re trying. Their prices are a little bit higher compared to other restaurants, but it’s worth every penny. Please be sure to check out this small business. This may be my number one Vietnamese restaurant. I also don’t usually post reviews on Google. I make content on TikTok and Instagram and that speaks for itself, but for this restaurant I had to come on Google and leave A review for myself as they are so new and I need people like me to tell them to come try this place and to...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would. My boyfriend and I were racially profiled by this establishment yesterday. We walked in at 9 and were greeted by the regular host we usually see. We were told that they were only taking to go orders and the kitchen was closed for deep cleaning today. Already disappointed, we sit in the car and immediately see a white gentlemen get seated. We wait around and see if he was waiting for a to go order but, 8 mins later..he was served pho. My boyfriend went back into the restaurant and confronted the host. He told my boyfriend that the manager allowed the white gentleman in and not us because the white gentleman promised to eat quickly. We don't believe that for one second because as soon as we walked in the “manager” said something in vietnamese to the host and he then he immediately denied us. The host was also scrambling his words when my boyfriend calmly approached him about the situation. He was continuing to make up things. This behavior is unacceptable. My boyfriend and I have came here at least 8 times and I’ve even recommended to others. After last night, we will never be returning & if you are a person of color or are against racism..I hope you do the same. We are spreading awareness to social...
Read moreI used to really love this Viet Culture location — the Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli Bowl, Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc (Shaking Beef with Broken Rice), and Mì Hoành Thánh (Wonton Noodle Soup) were always flavorful, generous, and well-prepared.
Lately, though, the quality has slipped. Portions have gotten smaller, the pho is now bland and oily, and the bread was cold and stale in the middle even though the outside was warm. My Grilled Shrimp Vermicelli Bowl wasn’t grilled this time — the shrimp tasted boiled and lacked flavor — and the Saigon Sizzling Steak came out very oily. The last few visits weren’t busy, so this seems like a preparation issue rather than a timing problem.
Some friendly suggestions for improvement:
Keep portion sizes generous like before.
Make sure flavors stay consistent, especially for pho and grilled items.
Ensure bread is fresh and warm all the way through.
Properly grill shrimp to restore that smoky, flavorful taste.
Reduce excess oil in dishes like the sizzling steak.
Regularly review preparation steps with the kitchen team to maintain consistency.
This place has so much potential — with a few adjustments, it could easily become a...
