Amethyst and Ink Books is a brand-new treasure in town, and you can already feel the magic as soon as you walk through the door. While the shelves are still in the process of being filled, the owner has big dreams for a re-grand opening where every wall will be lined with books. For now, the shop offers a lovely mix of carefully chosen reads (some even from local authors) alongside unique book-related items from local vendors! Everything from plants, handmade bookmarks, cookies, artwork to cozy hats. It feels less like just a bookstore and more like a little creative marketplace.
The back lounge is my favorite spot, soft lighting, comfy seating, and the perfect place to sink into a good book with a cup of tea or coffee in hand. Speaking of which, their coffee and tea selection is wonderful and makes lingering in the shop even more inviting. They even have a table with crayons for the littles but I would love to see more children books in soon!
