Amethyst and Ink Books is a brand-new treasure in town, and you can already feel the magic as soon as you walk through the door. While the shelves are still in the process of being filled, the owner has big dreams for a re-grand opening where every wall will be lined with books. For now, the shop offers a lovely mix of carefully chosen reads (some even from local authors) alongside unique book-related items from local vendors! Everything from plants, handmade bookmarks, cookies, artwork to cozy hats. It feels less like just a bookstore and more like a little creative marketplace. The back lounge is my favorite spot, soft lighting, comfy seating, and the perfect place to sink into a good book with a cup of tea or coffee in hand. Speaking of which, their coffee and tea selection is wonderful and makes lingering in the shop even more inviting. They even have a table with crayons for the littles but I would love to see more children books in soon! It’s the kind of place where time slows down and reading feels like a ritual. Whether you’re searching for your next favorite story, browsing the eclectic vendor items, or just want to sip something warm in a beautiful setting, Amethyst and Ink Books already has its charm and it’s only going to get better as it grows.

Such a cute place!! The staff is extremely welcoming and sweet. While the place is still new and starting out, you can already tell that its future is bright! My sister in law and I went on their grand opening and I purchased the cutest bookmark and a dragon journal for my husband! The vibes at this place are GREAT and this is a gem in Lawton! I’m so happy that Lawton finally has a bookstore!

A wonderful independent bookstore that came into a community that desperately needed it. Warm and unique decor with a fun selection of books and bookish gifts. The owner is very kind and has a lot of exciting plans for the shop coming up. There are also local vendors that sell their treats in there. We got ube cookies from Cookie Cadet as well that were delicious. Highly recommend a visit!
