I am sitting in the parking lot of toast and jam because I am still reeling from the experience and I need to compose myself. It is the cutest place ever and it is bustling with customers and people standing in line waiting to eat. Which to me is a indicator that the food is great and people enjoy being there so I didn’t mind waiting. I got a seat at the bar because I was by myself and the server at the bar was so friendly and energetic, and my food came out I swear in five minutes. I got the Chicken Carnitas skillet with pancakes and fried eggs. It was absolutely amazing. Those pancakes were nostalgic. I can’t think of what they taste like. That’s familiar to me. I almost wanna say funnel cake. They were fluffy and delicious and the skillet was Very unexpected. I didn’t know what to think of it because I’ve never heard of chicken Carnitas, but it was great. I would’ve waited longer if I had known how delicious the food was friendly atmosphere. I’m in town for my husband‘s graduation at Fort Sill. It’s literally a straight shot from the base so I would recommend anyone staying in town to visit this place. It’s amazing.

Family owned restaurant that serves mostly breakfast, but other stuff too. They even have Mexican breakfast style offerings, which I’ve never seen before. The menu is extensive. I’ll include a photo. The owner and his family made rounds throughout our meal to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The owner owns two other Lawton based restaurants, Luigi’s and Milano’s. The atmosphere was spectacular. The portion sizes were huge. Everything was fresh. My DIL had the gluten free pancakes and meat skillet and she boasted that it was possibly the best breakfast she’s ever had. My son and I had omelets, which came with pancakes fruit, grits or hashbrowns. 🤯 That’s a lot of food. I had the one with spinach and Swiss. 🤤 My son had an omelet also and he loved it. For three it was $70 not including tip. That includes two lattes and a milk. What impressed me most, besides the warm welcome, was the fact that they were packed and still managed to seat us in a timely manner, proved excellent service and food. This proves they’ll last in the long run. Thanks Toast and Jam!

This is a really nice restaurant for Lawton, OK! It's very stylish and felt fresh and clean. The service is fast and friendly and the portions are great for sharing. Omelettes come with a side of mini pancakes in comparison to a normal order of pancakes however, which I thought was odd. But everything was delicious. The hot sauce was surprisingly flavorful and delicious, I bought 3 to take home and share with friends! They have a good size food and drink menu, they even serve adult coffees, martinis, and wine. We sat inside at a booth this visit, but they have a bar and covered outdoor patio that looks really cool. The patio has umbrellas across the entire ceiling. I will happily come back the next time I'm back in Lawton.

Tried this place out for brunch on a Saturday. Very busy but the line moved quickly. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is great. It doesn’t look like it should be in Lawton. It’s definitely one of the better atmospheres of the restaurants in town.

I had the reuben with fries and my wife had a breakfast skillet. I was disappointed that my sandwich was served with the dressing on the side. I wasn’t a fan of having to disassemble a messy sandwich to apply the dressing. The fries were pretty good.

My wife said her breakfast skillet was good.

We also ordered some drinks. I started with a Bloody Mary. It was decent but it was made with BBQ sauce. Upon tasting it I thought I had ordered a bbq Bloody Mary inadvertently but after checking the menu I realized they only had one Bloody Mary advertised. Personally, I’m not a fan of bbq sauce in a drink. I ordered a tequila sunrise after the Bloody Mary and wasn’t impressed with it either. It definitely wasn’t made like a traditional tequila sunrise and had a fake orange cream flavor.

My wife had a pineapple mimosa and a glass of Prosecco and said both were good.

All in all, I’d definitely come back but I’d probably stick to breakfast and avoid ordering a mixed drink. Based on this experience, if it weren’t for the service and the atmosphere I’d rate this...

I've been to Toast and Jam in Lawton, Oklahoma, several times before and generally enjoyed the food, despite it being a bit overpriced and occasionally undercooked. However, today I had an absolutely terrible experience. I was served food that had clearly been returned by another customer.

I watched the entire process unfold—from the food being sent back to the area where servers pick up orders, to it being brought straight back to our table. The original recipients of our food were seated right next to us, and I even saw one of the women take a bite of my hashbrowns. When the food arrived at our table, my hashbrowns had a chunk missing, with visible fork marks on them. It was absolutely disgusting.

This is a serious health code violation. Returned food should never be resold or served to another customer. It's not only unsanitary, but also illegal. When I spoke to the manager (who I believe is the owner), he didn’t seem at all concerned. He didn’t apologize, just casually offered to replace the food. His lack of urgency or care was deeply disappointing.

Take my review as you will, but I strongly advise caution. I won't be returning after...

FINDING EGGSHELLS AND STILL PAYING FOR YOUR MEAL. My family and I come here almost every weekend and never have had issues. I ordered the Veggies Lover Benedict, which is my favorite. My second Bene was slightly crunchy, and halfway through, I bit into a dime-sized eggshell. (I understand it happens sometimes.) We told the waitress, and she apologized and took my plate. Another waitress came over with a hostile attitude, said our original waitress checked multiple times and that I never said anything and that I had already eaten most of my meal, so I have to pay for it. (Still had a few bites left of my bene, all of my hash browns and 3 pieces of bacon) After arguing back and forth, she said she could only comp me 50% bc I still ate the bene, gave us our bill and walked away. When we went up to pay for our meal, upon talking to the woman at the front about possibly comping the meal she said “it happens” and “you ate most of the meal.” After more back and forth, she finally took the plate off of our bill. We really do like this place and are extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled, we will not be eating...
