Mississippi River Distilling Company Celebration Center — Local services in Le Claire Township

Where do we even start with how perfect the MRDC Celebration Center was? The list goes on and on and on. First off, the staff there, all the way from the owner (Ryan), the event planner (Leah), to the bartenders (shoutout to Dan) are first class. They went above and beyond to not just meet our expectations, but to exceed them 100x over. They were easy to work with throughout the entire process and communicated extremely well. The drinks at the Distillery cannot be beat. We were complimented on many different occasions for how good they were, many people used the phrase "dangerously great drinks". The venue itself is the best that we've been to. The guys loved using the cellar to hideaway and escape from the madness at times. The girls loved the bridal suite to get ready in and lock their personal items away during the event. The details around the venue itself are stunning, which means you can do minimal decorations and have a stunning event. The backdrop of the Mississippi River is rare for a wedding venue like this and having the rooftop bar was amazing for guests who wanted to get away from the dance floor to have a drink and conversation. Had a summer wedding here, ceremony of about 110, reception of about 160. Also a rehearsal dinner of about 50 people. Got endless compliments on how gorgeous the venue was. Fair pricing. Very helpful, adaptable, resourceful, available and friendly staff. Leah was fantastic. The venue is industrial and historic, lots of old wood and exposed brick. The bridal sweet is so pretty, and the “mens cave” or whatever you want to call it might be even cooler. The amenities are abundant: mimosas in the morning in the bridal suite, code-protected lockers, salon-quality beauty tool holder/center, elevator for those who may need it, little speakers in the bridal suite and grooms area are provided. The venue staff send you a free sampling of their liquors in the form of a multipack of shooters after you book with them. The River view overlook patio was beautiful for a ceremony & the rehearsal dinner. The cocktails were a hit. The service was fantastic. Seriously so many compliments on this venue. My only personal little critique is how much smaller the women’s area is compared to the mens & how few mirrors. From the minute we reached out to MRDC to have our wedding there to the minute we left the night of our wedding , everything was PERFECT! Monica , the owner,who coordinator everything with us is hands down the best and made everything leading up to our big day so smooth and easy! The day of our wedding Monica was there the whole time and truly felt like one of our best friends who wanted to help us with everything to make our day perfect. All of us had things we needed her for and she was right there to ensure she had a solution for us or guided us to find a solution!
