Adventures in Ink — Local services in Leander

A very nice local comic bookstore! Good selection of comics, nice and friendly staff, solid game selection, interesting selection of merch, tables for gameplay, and a very clean bathroom. My only feedback is I'd like to see a wider selection of indie comics or even local Texas ones here and there if possible. Also, the shirts for sale are primarily polyester which is too hot and not good for people with sensitive skin. I also found $70 for a shirt that's 80-100% polyester too high. With a bit of research, there's probably somewhere else to source merch from offering better quality materials with still very cool designs for the same price or cheaper. Overall, considering it is a brand new business, they're doing great and I expect great things. My family will definitely be back. Thanks for the warm welcome...

What a great shop. Friendly and helpful customer service! I called today because our regular spot was closed for the holiday weekend. Might I add that when I called I was answered happily and professionally. I searched for another comic store in the area and I was surprised to find this new store so close by. We were warmly welcomed and helped as soon as we stepped in. The store is bright, clean, and well organized. We had a great time looking around and found some really great things. Adventures in Ink is shaping up to be a great local spot with a friendly and inviting atmosphere! I've been away from current comics and storylines for about a year, so I just asked "what are you reading?" I got an ENTHUSIASTIC overview of arcs going on across all the major publishers and some interesting indie and horror recs, too. It really feels like this is a passion and something to engage with at Adventures in Ink, not just another store. I left with plenty to read and a couple of cool freebies. I plan to frequent this business for my favorite comics, and I can make my pull list online so I don't miss anything I'm interested in...
