Boba Cucue — Restaurant in Leander

Update: This place can really be hit or miss. I’ve had a decent experience since my second visit, but my most recent trip was disappointing. Over the weekend, I witnessed an employee take a spoon out of the sink to scoop ice out of my drink after accidentally adding it. They noticed me watching, poured the drink out, and then remade it in the same cup 🙃. Later, I saw another employee do the exact same thing—same spoon from the sink, same method—for someone else’s order.

On top of that, I had ordered two of the same drinks (one without ice), and they looked completely different. It felt awkward and honestly a bit embarrassing bringing one of them to my friend as part of a baby shower surprise.

I also tried to reach out to the owner via Instagram but haven’t received a response, and I haven’t been able to find an email to contact them directly.

Update: I went back a third time right at opening, and the experience was much better! The owner was incredibly kind and really took the time to acknowledge and make up for what happened during my second visit. I did still have to remind the staff about the extras I asked for, but she was quick to correct it and apologized for the oversight. This time it was just as good as the first time! It’s clear they care and are working hard to improve, and I really appreciate that. I’ll definitely be back again and hope the consistency continues to grow with time. Thank you for taking feedback seriously—it really does make a difference!

The first time I went last week it for the brown sugar coffee it was so so so good. They are super sweet people but seem to lack consistency. When I went today I was given no boba or brown sugar syrup when I had asked for extra. Not only that but it seemed to only have a drop of coffee. It tasted like I was drinking just milk. After a 30 minute wait to order and receive the drink i couldn’t fathom waiting any longer with a newborn. I wanted to cry. I was only offered a small tiny cup of just boba. I’d upload a picture of the drink but google isn’t...

This place is so weird! 1st time we went, we stood up at the register ready to order. 2 girls were in the back getting the mop bucket, made eye contact and continued with their task. We were confused wondering if they were closed, my husband tried to get their attention asking if they were still open with no response. Manager was sitting on a table with his laptop, & made a “shooting my brains out” motion with his hands to one of the girls and they laughed. So weird! Sorry for bothering you with my money? Boba was really good so we went back. 2nd time, ordered online and it was great. 3rd time, went inside and wasn’t really greeted. Kinda felt like they were annoyed to be serving us. Ordered the same boba I had been ordering (Coconut milk tea) my husband ordered Royal Milk tea. Waited 5 min, girls came up to us and told me they couldn’t do my order because it wasn’t on the menu? I asked them to make me a regular milk tea but with coconut milk, proceeded to get the worst milk tea we’ve ever had.

This place could easily be so great, but they are not consistent with their service or product. We’re gonna give them a chance to get it together, but probably won’t go back...

I recently visited a boba cucue & I am truly impressed, not only with its delicious drinks but also with its thoughtful selection of kid-friendly options.

I opted for the Mango Mochi Frappe, and it was absolutely divine. The mango flavor was fresh and vibrant, perfectly balanced with the unique chewiness of the mochi. It was a delightful texture and taste experience that I'd highly recommend. I also tried the Strawberry Crema X, which was equally fantastic. The strawberry was bright and sweet, and the "crema" added a lovely, velvety richness without being overly heavy. Both drinks were perfectly blended and incredibly satisfying.

What really stood out, though, was their dedication to providing kid-friendly boba drinks. It's often a challenge to find places that cater to younger palates, offering options that are less sweet or without certain toppings. It's clear this establishment understands the needs of families, making it a perfect spot for a treat with the little ones.
