Unfortunately this is a very long and negative review. It’s a wonder I’m taking the time to write this review because the time I’ve spent on the phone getting DT McCall’s to correct an issue has been lengthy. Unfortunately I didn’t take notes every time I had a call with someone at DT MCall’s. I purchased a dishwasher at the Franklin location 4/18/25. (This review is being written 09/03/25.). The salesman was nice & helpful. In fact the reason I returned to this location after having previously purchased a washing machine was because of the same salesman’s help & ease of delivery etc. Everything goes downhill from here. The dishwasher was installed days after purchase & upon installation, the two gentleman doing the installation & myself noted a dent in the panel. A new panel had to be ordered. The panel was delivered, installed & it was the wrong color. The second installer indicated whoever ordered the product didn’t take the time to look at my original order & take down the right product #. Another panel was ordered, this now being the third panel to include the original. The new panel was delivered & it sat in my house for a couple of weeks. I never understood why it was sent to my house as no one said it was coming to my house. I had to then take it up in myself to contact someone in service to install the new panel. The new panel was installed & it had a worse dent than the first. (Please realize a lot of time has lapsed. I made multiple calls to keep this now “project” going.) The installer indicated this is why it should have been sent to DT McCall’s instead of my house (I had zero involvement in the handling of where it was sent). Another panel was ordered, installed & it was the wrong color (just wow!!). I finally called the main location & asked to speak to a manager. I was sent to the voicemail of Bobby Dennis. I received no return call however two days later, without warning, I receive another apparent panel delivery. A couple of weeks go by & no phone call from anyone including Bobby. I called DT McCall’s today & asked to speak with Bobby Dennis. The lady who took the call did schedule another appointment for two weeks out to have the new panel installed once again. She said Bobby was in his office & transferred the call. Bobby’s vm picked up. Apparently no time to chat with an unhappy customer. ~ since April I have been dealing with this panel & in my opinion a scratch n dent situation though I didn’t pay scratch n dent prices. The time it has taken has not been due to a delay in shipping of the panels. It’s 100% been DT McCall’s left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing & their lack of care in handling a second time but last time customer. And kudos to all the nice gentleman who have come to install - they all have been very kind & nice. The issues are not with the installers. The issues are with the office(s). Read moreUpdate!! This reply by DT McCall is completely inaccurate. But I do understand the need to lie to try to cover up how horrible their customer service is. This review falls right in line with the countless other negative reviews that back up the experience we have had. I DEMANDED the service manager to listen to the countless videos we recorded of the increasingly loud noises. The service manager stated and I quote “sir, I don’t need to hear your video, I trust my technician and will go with what he says.” We have forwarded the videos to speed queen. They acknowledged the noise in the videos. They stated that the noise was not normal and needed to be rectified. They have since forwarded our issue to another service repair company. They have come out. They also acknowledged that the noise was present and have ordered replacement parts for the heater coils that were found to have been dislodged and vibrating excessively inside the dryer. The lack of effort from DT McCall and absolutely horrific customer service has led us to move on to other providers. Feel free to purchase appliances from DT McCall, but you’re gonna need to reach out to a real service repair company listed by the manufacturer in order to receive service after the sale. “AAAhhhhh!”
Can you hear it? We’ve owned this dryer we purchased from DT McCall for only 4 months and we’ve had their service tech out 3 times now. He has replaced everything last thing in this dryer and still can’t fix the obnoxious noise. Which gets louder and louder as the dryer gets hotter. Sounds like the drum is grinding on the frame. Either way we shouldn’t have to deal with this after spending over 3 grand on a washer and dryer. Speed queen is supposed to be the best. Well it’s only as good as the place you purchase from. Go anywhere else to do business. DT McCall says not their problem and to call the manufacturer. Which we did…. We waited for 2 weeks to hear from some other repair company. Got fed up and called back to DT McCall they reminded us again not their problem and that their service tech couldn’t hear a noise so we must be lying and just trying to get a new dryer. Then why did he replace parts…. That’s right! We are lying! We just like to spend months dealing with a service tech at our house and hours on the phone to fix a problem that doesn’t really exist!! We don’t have anything better to do. We find this fun! Give me a break. They hear it. They just don’t care. They just take your money and hope you go away. We will be dropping off the washer and dryer in their lobby. No refund needed. We’re just done dealing...
Read moreI purchased a new washer/dryer set from DT McCall and sons in Carthage tn on 8/18/2021 only to get the items home and opened to find them to be damaged so I contacted the store by phone that same day and even sent the salesman Jason sanders these photos of the damaged items. They informed me that they would order new tops and side panels to be replaced because they didn’t have more of them in the store to switch them out with at the time and I wasn’t upset about it until the items were delivered to my house and the unprofessional way the service department handled it. I contacted them and they were supposed to come on 9/17/21, and on 9/22/21in which both days they didn’t come on the 17th and on the 22nd they only sent an inexperienced person to repair a stove not the actual items in question per the service technician. I’ve made numerous attempts to resolve this problem with them and finally had another date set on 9/30/21 with two experienced service technicians. There policy is to call the morning of said day of services well you already know that never happened they showed up at 9am and made the repairs or at least they said they did but I came home from work to find that I still had damaged items on these items and contacted the service manager and he was such an unprofessional jerk about it and when I asked to speak with his boss he basically hung up in my face and told me he’s not giving me anything but from the way I see it is Mr. Dennis you never gave me anything but more headaches . I’ve been a loyal customer for 15+ years and have made many purchases through them and this bad experience has most definitely left me angry and fed up. So before you purchase from them make sure to open your items and inspect for damages because they never handled this situation and I can’t even get a call back from anyone...
