Smoothie King — Restaurant in Lebanon

I go here every weekend for a smoothie and they never disappoint....they ALWAYS have one! They make them with fresh fruit and have plenty of additives for you to throw in. You know, like fiber or pre-natal vitamins? And they use the industrial strength blenders to do it with! I was pretty excited to see that. I asked, "Is that one of those blenders that can liquefy a cell phone?", and the guy said, "Sir, I'm not sure you spelled that right.", so I told him I'd look it up when I got home, but I never did. Anyway, he said it was, so I said, "Then add my cell phone to it, too!", laughingly. This was pretty funny to me, but I had forgotten I was holding my cell phone at the time and all the laughing at my own joke made me a bit slow to realize he took it from me, dropped it in the blender and hit the button before I could stop him! It was an old phone anyway and it turned out to be very tasty! Now I can receive texts in my mind, too. I am getting some pretty wild instructions from outer space, which I really didn't even know my plan covered. I guess you live and you learn! I have to go now, evidently I'm supposed to set fire to a dumpster at a church and give a homeless guy my ATM card. Wow, does...

I ordered online and went to pick up through the drive thru. I was abruptly told “it’s going to be a long time, you should come inside”. I inquired why it would matter if I ordered and he snapped and said “it will be faster”. I asked how I can cancel my order, to which he replied “I could care less how you cancel your order”. I went inside hoping to speak to a manager, and he said he was the manager! I said I wanted to speak to someone above him & he said “well you’ll have to wait for my boss”. I asked for a phone number and it became a very hostile conversation where he was being so disrespectful & telling me he was a grown man & could care less who he talked to!! The very sweet girl behind the counter continued to make my bowl & was very polite and obviously uncomfortable with her “managers behavior”. I work at the cvs next door and typically have to be clocked in at 8. I was counting on Smoothie King for my breakfast last friday (i drive 45 minutes from home to work) and pulled up at around 7:50. The hours are listed that they open at 7 on week days.....well they never came to the drive thru so i just went to the front door thinking that the drive thru maybe was malfunctioning. But the front door was locked and all the lights out with no note or and indication as to why they weren't open and hour after they were supposed to be....I didnt have time to go anywhere else so i did without breakfast that day....I've never had this problem before and I always get good service...not sure what happened that day but I was sorely disappointed that there was no explanation....I am hoping they open on time monday morning but I ...
