Walgreen's Lebanon, TN Main Street is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune of using. I had all my prescriptions transferred to Walgreens. That pharmacy sent everything, including older prescriptions that I either no longer took or there had been a change to. I told the pharmacy manager this and to only refill prescriptions that were filled recently. That obviously was too much for him to comprehend. One prescription has been changed two months prior to Walgreens getting them. It had gone from 90 pills a month to 120 pills a month. You guessed it, Walgreens filled the old prescription for 90 pills even though they had the revised prescription right in front of them. I wasn't angry, mistakes happen. I called and explained the situation to one of the pharmacists there and he went back through my list of prescriptions and quickly found the revised prescription. He said it was no problem an that he'd fix it. Later that day I checked my account online and there was the prescription for the additional 30 pills. But when I went to get them the manager said he couldn't give them to me because the insurance wouldn't pay for the additional 30 pills. Why they wouldn't pay for the additional pills was because the pharmacy manager kept submitting the prescription for ninety pills. I asked him why he wouldn't send them the prescription for 120 pills and tell the insurance company of the mistake and he said he couldn't find a prescription for 120 pills. He kept accusing me of trying to get my next months pills early. I had the previous pharmacy fax him the copy of the current prescription for 120 pills three times but the manager absolutely would not listen. He kept interrupting me to the point that our conversation got heated. Either he is a moron or he's doing this on purpose. I contacted my insurance company and they had no problem understanding what happened nor did they have a problem paying for the other 30 pills. All the pharmacy manager had to do was submit the correct prescription. The manager still wouldn't fix the situation. After speaking with someone at Walgreen's corporate office the manager filled the 30 pills owed but then told me it would cost me $110.00 dollars. My insurance company pays for the prescription and my co-pay is $5.00, of which I already paid. It's been over month and he thinks by now I've given up, but he' is wrong. I hope the little arrogant worm reads this. Not only am I going to get the 30 pills out of him, I'm after his job for lying about not having the current prescription. Someone there had it but mysteriously it was deleted from the computer. I know who deleted it and so does some of the other pharmacists working there. The manager is a liar and I'm going to prove it. He accused me of trying to get my prescription early. That is not something I'm going to just let go of. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Walgreens, unless you are looking for a job as a new Walgreens pharmacy manager. There should be an opening...
Read moreEver since covid, and EVERYONE in Tennessee waiting until THE LAST MINUTE to get the vaccine, this Walgreens Pharmacy has been a nightmare. NOT due to the Pharmacy itself, but the fact that they are short staffed, had some remodeling going on, and are desperately trying to get enough people trained and hired to open both lines again. 1 for people who are getting the vaccine, and need nothing else, and another line for everyone who needs to pick up their prescriptions. I go weekly to biweekly to pick up my prescriptions, and 2 weeks ago, the last time I went, one of the Pharmacy techs went above and beyond. Not only while training someone new, but he tried to get my prescription filled immediately, since it had been called in at 10 am, said online that it would be ready by 1:15 pm, at 2:00 pm I had gotten in line, that was so far backed up, I didn't make it to the front until 2:35pm. He told me to wait up front for 5 mins, and they would have it done. After 15 mins of waiting, and getting a notification on my phone through the app it was ready, I stood up to be next in line, and the customers were rude to me! I got yelled at by a woman that had skipped 3 other people in line, and had only been there 5 minutes herself. So, I reluctantly got back in line. After being in line for 20 minutes, the Pharmacy tech who had told me to wait 5 minutes saw me, and told me I didn't have to wait in line again, told me to walk back up to the front, and he would take care of me asap! I wish I had caught his name, because he was not only helpful, but courteous and professional! It was the customers who were outrageously RUDE! I hope someone those people read this, and realize that EVERYONE had been waiting there for almost an hour, and some even LONGER! Anyway, because of him, he gave me hope to come back to that Walgreens, and not transfer my prescription...
Read moreAfter another disgusting show of despicable customer service, I decided to write a review. The first time I had an awful experience, I called and spoke to a manager who just listened to my story and placed me on hold forever. Since my time is valuable, which they donât understand, I hung up. What happened was one of the girls stapled my credit card, yesâŚthe actually card, to the envelope which was very difficult to remove and painstaking to see if it still worked. It didnât at first until I bent the stapled pieces back. Not the point! Who does that? Someone who was in a rush and didnât care. I have been back there twice to fill Rxs and at first, Iâm treated like everyone else. When check-out came, another woman stepped in, dropped my items in the bin and opened it abruptly and walked away. The first time I thought maybe it was my imagination. Right? Sheâs having a bad day. Still not OK though! Well, there must be something that targets me as the lady who called to complain about their mistake which I really donât care, but that doesnât warrant your disgusting behavior and is going to be brought up again and again until it stops. Today, receipt stamped at 2:56, I went in to fill some prescriptions, and the girl ringing me up, stepped away, and then what looked to be the same woman from last episode stepped in, abruptly dropping my items in the bin, opening it and walking away. This type of disgusting behavior is not appropriate! Not a goodbye like she had been saying to everybody else. I listened. She was very friendly to everybody. âGoodbye! thank you for shopping Walgreens. Have a great dayâ. Why wasnât I shown that same respect? Both times, since I called to report something they did in error that couldâve caused me a huge issue had I needed a new card. Does a manager care to address...
