I went to Dutilles to have some repairs done on a couple rings & I am so grateful & impressed with the work that was done. My ~100 year old platinum ring was in need of some repairs & a new shank. And I must say, it looks better than the day that I bought it. And it is so much more sturdy than I could have ever imagined. The shank is so thick I don't have to worry about it bending anymore. They even went above and beyond and fixed some old repairs that had been done to it previously as well. Just wow! It's so hard to find the right place to trust with your jewelry. I have previously had some unfortunate experiences with other local jewelers and it's just really nice to know who you can take your stuff to without having to worry about it. Now I must say that every single person that I encountered in their store was the nicest person i've ever dealt with. Cheryl was warm, inviting, knowledge and kind. Suzanne couldn't be more personable, genuine and lovely. Jude, Beau, Tim & Keely were helpful, responsive and also kind. And I didn't catch everybody's name, but anybody that I spoke to in the shop while I was, there was just truly a very nice person. As far as the pricing goes, I think that they are very fair and competitive. Especially considering the high quality of work that they are doing. I will absolutely be returning! Another exceptional experience at Dutilles! This one was a lot of work & they were very patient with me. The finished work was beyond my expectations! I brought in a yellow diamond ring that needed to be sized down & have worn prongs redone. During the process I decided I would like to have the diamond sent in to GIA for certification. Cheryl was wonderful in accommodating my many requests. (Thank you Cheryl!) Dutilles kindly removed the diamond, sent in for certification and continued to work on the rest of the ring in the process. After it came back from the lab, it was quickly remounted, and I got it back sooner than expected! I couldn't believe the difference. It was like a whole new ring. Just absolutely gorgeous thanks to the careful & talented work they did. Cheryl, Katherine, Tim, Beau, Keely & Suzanne were so lovely every time I stopped in (I have more work in progress with other jewlery). We went to Dutille’s looking for an engagement ring and wedding bands. They were very friendly and professional. After looking at the rings they had on display, we decided we really wanted a slight variation from one of the ring sets they showed us. They offered to create a custom ring set for us that would give us exactly what we were looking for, and were genuinely excited and passionate about the project. Within a couple days, they presented a design with a quote that met our tight timeline and at a cost that was better than the display ring it was based on.
