Basic long story short. Food was under seasoned. The quantity to cost of food was also something not conducive to one another. Mac and cheese was bland and flavorless. Brought about concern Via a Facebook review respectful as ever, I thought.
The “smokehouse” itself commented, then the “co owner” commented. The smoke house page itself has since blocked me based on my review.
You can not block me on google. Now I gave my honest opinion your food , it was under seasoned. You wished I’d have been quiet about it as stated in your comment. (I brought it to your attention publicly, not privately.) I even stated in my response to the co owner respectfully I’ll come back and enjoy the food there. Try and have a conversation with you even in person.
Now how could I even give you guys a better rating when returning since you’ve gone and blocked me? This is not appropriate for a business, i was not rude nor was i malicious in my review. I even advocated for you in a positive way in the fact others could see the short fall you “had” and see that you’ve fixed it. Or see how you communicated with me. But the actions you took were childish and petty of a business. Especially such a small business like yourselves. Why? Receiving constructive criticism is the only way to achieve sustained success as a business.
You were called out in 2022 about mac and cheese. I’m just looking out for the little guy in a town that’s small.

They substituted with both brisket and shredded pork, as well as refunded the 1/3 slab of ribs. The piece of chicken on the sandwich was smaller than the bun, not to mention cold and dry. The sides of beans, potato salad, and cucumber salad, were no larger than a plastic mouthwash cup, not to mention completely inedible. The side dish cups hold 4 oz of liquid. Using soggy Texas Toast for a sandwich is just the beginning of what my experience was. The Mac & Cheese looked like mush. No Cheese or flavor whatsoever either. The water from boiling noodles is all I can compare the flavor to.
Ribs. Oh my. COATED in something red and spicy. Their version of a "Rub" I supposed. More like red/cayenne pepper powder. And a lot of it.
Tater tots were a very dark brown with some other debris on them. As if the deep fryer hadn't been cleaned in some time.
