Some gems, some cool finds, and lots of new items- which some will appreciate, and others will say: âąwhy am I seeing non-antique items in this antique mall?â
For me, I donât mind passing the new stuff and enjoying the older items that I actually am interested in. Why not let all kinds of businesses try their hand in the open market? If people are also buying the new stuff- letâs let them be. Some of the new items are cool - there is craftwork, handmade wooden items, a cost amount of âAmericanaâ - possibly some of it Amish.
Also lots of âOhio gearâ cutting hostess in the shape of Ohio, maps, signs for the home, flags, jerseys, t-shirts, candles and soaps âmade in OhioââŠ. You get the idea.
I say: âcheck it outâ if youâve never been. For me, it was worth the drive from Cincinnati, as I was able to go to many thrift stores and antique shops on the way.
One note: If you go on a weekend, expect a line at checkout. When I was there, it moved pretty quickly, but it was really long (too...
Read moreOk so this is kind of the mecca of antique malls. We recently spent an entire day in Lebanon, going antiquing, and this was the last stop we made.
One nice thing, is it's open later. Around 8ish I believe. When most of the other shops close up at 5. You could seriously spend an entire day here. It's kind of the Jungle Jim's of Antique Stores. There are tons of stalls, with all sorts of different themes. Some new stuff too. Everything is on display, with pricing on it, and you take what you want up to the counter and pay for it.
There's artwork, coins, signs, furniture, doors, windows, glass, camera's pretty much anything and everything! The only downside, is the people who own the booths are normally not there, unless you get lucky and someone's restocking, so you can't haggle on pricing like you could at other stores. But for the most part, a lot of the booths already have decent prices.
It's worth checking out no matter what look...
Read moreeverything is awesome about this place other than one employee.. she didnât seem like she wanted to work there to be honest. itâs 4/18 around 1pm when my father and i went, we have been going there for the last 8 years, and we found a large mirror we wanted to purchase. it wonât fit in the little carts so we asked if they would hold it while we shopped. they told us no. then, during checkout, we asked if the seller would take offers (we always do this on higher prices items) and the same lady told us we canât and that the minimum price for offers is $50. which is weird because not even a year ago i bought an item for $40 and the employee called and got it down to 30⊠she just seemed rude and overall did not appreciate her service. she stated it has âalways been the policyâ and did not smile once. just odd weâve never seen her in the last 8 years of coming. will continue to come! just hope this doesnât continue...
