Took the family here yesterday for dinner, and started off rough and just went downhill from there! They were busy and only had 2 or 3 servers working.
we sat down at a table near the back, and a waiter came over, took our drink order and gave us menus and took 10 plus minutes to even come back. Once she was back we placed an order for an appetizer . That took roughly 10-15 mins before she came back to get our dinner order and give us the appetizer order.
Meanwhile we noticed a larger bald headed gentleman sitting at a table behind us walking around the place like he owned the facility. He was going behind the bar and getting bottles of beer, walking through the doorway and sitting down , but the choice of language was profound. tossing around F'ing and R'ed every sentence and found it extremely concerning. We asked our waiter about it and she understood our concern and went to speak with the owner about it and he just brushed her off and then started making fun of our concern to the table he was sitting at. We were close enough and he was loud enough we could hear almost his entire conversation.
Meanwhile he was getting into verbal altercations with one of the servers , and the remaining servers about there are no tickets left but yet there is food coming out of the kitchen and its b.s and he won't allow this to happen.
Then a female from the same table goes behind the door and comes out with a white claw in hand.
The waiters were running around trying to keep things together and keep apologizing for all the delays and how things were going, i just feel bad for the servers having to put up with this.
moral of the story and i know its lengthy, if you treat your business as a personal party place, reviews like this...

There are reasons that pilgrimages are set upon, by those in distant lands, to dine at such a monumental Lebanon staple. Especially due to Nikkis Tavern being located next to the famed Lebanon Tobacco Marketplace.
The food is served with love, honor, and discipline. The cooks work hard with a sense of stoicism, seen only in tales of legend. If the names Feezle Driftwood, or Gibby Lawson dont prick your ear, then you know not of this Cooking Paragons.
Fulfill your destiny. Fate has taken you to read the accolades of Nikkis Tavern. Would you dare to deny...
Read moreAbsolutely do not recommend. There was a large party there when we got there. We ordered our food, the large party got their food, ate and left and we STILL waited another 30 minutes. We didn’t even order anything that difficult either! It’s literally tavern food! Plus 2 of our orders were wrong. Complete waste of my time, I didn’t even eat my sandwich because it looked dry and not appetizing at all. Seeing the place was almost empty besides the party of 10, it should have been our...
