I love this place, I only wish I was wealthy enough to shop here frequently! They sell high-end pet foods, so obviously the prices are higher. This is true for other products too, like dog toys -- they stock only the best names in the business, therefore, higher prices, again. But oh how I love going here. And I always find something for my dog, regardless of cost. But on the flip side, West Leb Feed & Supply has really good prices on farm & wildlife supplies, like chicken feed & black oil sunflower seeds. And they load it into your car for you!!! Also their baby chickens are an excellent choice. So it's really nothing that they do, it's not like they jack up the price of things --- they just sell very high quality stuff that is expensive no matter where you buy it. OK so my daughter is getting a a new puppy and she researched a lot about dogs but she still didn't know what to buy for her puppy so I suggested this store so I let her take the bus to the library and walk down (she is 16 she is looking for a job she is very kind and responsible) to the store she went down to their 3 days in a row which I thought was fine because she told me she was going to the library to and I know how therrow she is at picking pet products because she has a cat to but when I went in yesterday with her to buy some kitty toys she wanted they told me that they didn't want her over their any more for a week at least because she was suspicious and they didn't know what she was doing so we ended up not getting the toys and I...

When I had dogs, I used to frequent this store more often. It is a great place to buy pet products (food, toys, shampoo, leashes, etc). Now, I go in for gardening and canning equipment (grass seed and feed, hoses, sprinklers, bird feeders, etc). You can order chicks here in the spring. They carry Perfect Storm boots, which are my favorite winter/spring boot for my kids. They also have a nice selection of Western Chief rain boots. And I'm sure they carry things I don't even know about as I think people order things. This store is an all around gem with staff who are very nice and always happy to help.
