Iāve had another dog come here and her experience was good. My recent experience with my dog Winnie I canāt say the sameā¦. My friend picked her up for me. My roommate gets a call they sent her home with another dogās collar. They ask us to make the drive back and switch them out. Iām hours away so is my roommate and our friend has to work. We tell the groomer we canāt at the moment but will let her know when weāre available. Itās the next day and my roommate gets called twice then my friend and as well and then my roommate again. All over this collar. I tell them I can come but not sure when but it will be today. I drive all the out a 35 min drive to fix their mistake by the way. Iām there waiting for 30 minutes, no one comes to help. Eventually a girl from the boarding section comes to help. I ask if I can speak to the groomer about this collar situation Iāve been harassed about it and now thereās no one here to exchange it. Also she put a flea collar on my dog sheās very allergic they make her sick. The girl just hands me her phone says its her I speak with the groomer who left an hour ago but tells no one ⦠all she can say is that itās an honest mistake when I explain my dog is allergic and could have ended up at the vet over her mistake. I also mentioned how my dog has razor burn. She said āthat happens when shaving so close for matingā. I tell her it also happens when clippers are too hot though. Her defense is āIāve been grooming for 2 years the blades were not hotā. Apparently sheās so experienced she couldnāt possibly mess up the blades but can send my dog home with the wrong collars that make her sick?? I also explained how Iāve been waiting for 30 minutes to fix her mistake. She says sheās just the groomer not a manager. I tell her okay I want to speak with the manager. She says nothing so I ask the girl from boarding if the manager is there sheās not so she puts her on the phone. She doesnāt answer. Iām very late for work I leave a voice mail so I can finally leave. Still no one tells me anything about collars I just set them (Maggieās) on the counter and take what I assume is my dogs (Winnieās) very nice expensive harness (which looks nothing like that collar). It was sitting on the gate and her leash as well. I hope Maggie eventually gets her collars back. I will never be returning. The in house communication for staff is atrocious. Customers service skills are barely adequate. Thank you to the girl in the boarding area. I hope sheās being paid right for having to deal with this poor groomer management communication. This place should be ran way smoother and it should not ever be a clients job to fix your mistakes. No compensation was offered ever as to the mistakes also not even a simple nice āthank you sorry for the inconvenienceā for driving back to help the groomer out. Cost me an hour and a half of my day and me being late to my work as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTook very good care of our Goldendoodle while we were on vacation. We checked in several times and were reassured each time by text and pictures that she was doing well. They are also extremely accommodating for last minute appointments/boarding needs, and willing to meet after hours to work out keeping her with little notice. We will continue to take our dog here and have peace of mind knowing she is in good hands while we are gone!! I highly recommend Roxie Doodle! Updated-we have continued to leave our dog at RoxieDoodle and are extremely satisfied with the love and care she receives while we are out of town! They are always accommodating and have kept her any time we needed them to. She is always excited to stay here and comes home excited to see us and also worn out from the exercise and fun she has while we are gone! And bonus that she gets a bath and smells wonderful when we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe just boarded our dog Zeus for the first time here and it was so much better than I could have hoped! He has boarded at another kennel before, but needed to find another due to distance and availability. Roxie Doodle was flexible with us and able to take him during fall break. Zeus is very timid and can be a reactive dog, so we were nervous about how he would behave around new people and other dogs. Lisa and her team made him feel so comfortable, and by the next day, they were able to send us pictures and videos of him thriving and playing! Zeus was so happy when we picked him up, smelled great, and the team was so easy to work with. They treat all the dogs like their own. We will...
