Meadows Farms Nurseries and Landscape — Local services in Leonardtown

While the store itself is nice, and we bought a tree there in the past for Christmas, the advertising for the landscape design services is misleading. Their website says that in-home consults and installation are available in "St. Mary's county", but they declined to mention that they will not serve all of the county. Residents in or south of St. Mary's City are out of luck, as communicated to me when I (after recommendations from friends) contacted them for a paid consulatation. Prices are generally high here, but their plants are high quality. They seem to have more of a focus on trees and shrubs. They don't have a huge selection of veggie plants / annuals / perennials. One really nice thing they have that isn't common however is LeafGro in bags and also bulk LeafGro they can deliver. I love that stuff for my veggie garden. One downside I must say is their christmas trees. I find them to be VERY expensive and subpar quality. I stop in there after leaving work at Budds Creek Motocross Park and the staff and owners are always in a great mood and extremely helpful. I never really know what I want to add and all I have to do is let them know what I currently have planted and they help me find the perfect plant to compliment my garden.

I am expanding it next year and will be there quite often until this is complete. They have great prices and make the atmosphere seem like a family. If all businesses were run like the employees actually cared they would be right up there with...
