Great service. Nice selections. Customer service was the best my wife and I have had in a furniture store. In and out very quickly, they loaded the furniture on the truck. All this happened a half hour before they closed and not one complaint or any sense of trying to rush us out the door. We will be back. Thank you Schewels!!
I’m changing my review for Schewels from a perfect 5 to a 3. For starters I purchased on a line of credit some furniture, made the agreement for a 4 month payoff. Two weeks after purchase, my wife and I were fortunate enough to make substantial payment to our account (to almost paid in full). We like the couch so much that we wanted to purchase the matching love seat as well, which we were unable to at the time of the original purchase. When the lady that was helping me heard me say that we were moving, and before I could get out the words that my plan was to pay cash for the love seat and pay off the remaining balance of my account, she shut down the page she was looking at on the computer and said since I was moving out of the area that this particular store covered she said she could not help me. So, secondly I walk back to the payment counter to get the remaining balance to pay off what was left. Before Scott, who was helping me could actually get me the balance, this lady is spouting off that I need to pay off my account since I was moving out of the area to other people behind the counter. It just made me feel as if she was not going let me get away with leaving the store before I paid the balance. So I paid everything off and (I guess it doesn’t matter since I’m moving) will never be back at this location again. Read moreFirst time going in here was today to try and find a small stand for next to my son's bed for socks and items. We were greeted by a very kind and personable associate, I later found out is this store's manager. She listened to my needs for my son and found ways to help direct me. Allison came over and spent a relatively long time with me, while son was on video call, to see the options they have, in stock, we could purchase and bring home today. They were all beautiful pieces, however, my son had a specific color in mind to match his bookshelf and Allison went above and beyond to assist me without me even knowing what she had done. She came back out and over to me, showed me a collection and it IS THE EXACT color of my son's bookshelf! This was meant to be. We have had basically our entire homes furnishings up here, purchased from 2 other furniturer stores. THE QUALITY, availability and kindness and genuine assistence at this store is beyond excellent. Thank you so much ladies for your help and to the gentleman who brought my son's night stand and put it in the car for us. We appreciate you and look forward to giving you our business in the future. The store has SO MANY beautiful pieces of quality furniture and though I was hyper-focused on in and out for a small stand for my son, I definitely saw livingroom sets, bedding set et and the prices are relatively unbelievably affordable, especially compared to what has been purchased in past. Read moreMy husband & i came in last week, attracted by Labor Day sales...but, too late. We needed a new recliner (ours-mechanism broken), & my husband said we needed a smaller sized one (i'm really short!), also, that ours is a farm home, dogs, cats & lots of 'outside in'. Our salesperson, Amanda, was great, a good listener, & paid attention to our specific needs (as opposed to many places, where folks try to 'push' buyers to more expensive items-she did not, but showed wide range options. We picked out a small, nicely upholstered chair. We were not able to buy the chair in showroom, but were told we could pick up at store, following Wednesday; we'd get a call. We did not, and, thankfully, before driving into town, my husband called to check availability. (Reason review is not a 5!) The chair was 'in warehouse', but 'would be in showroom Tuesday', upcoming. We bought a new chair at this time because my husband's sister is flying in from Calif. on Wednesday. Have been cleaning, preparing for visit, & counting on comfy new chair for living room.
