Even though I know it'll fall on deaf ears, as he has the market cornered with no other options in town. But going forward I will definitely drive all the way to Spokane should the need arrise. My son is not the type to go to school dances, but Friday he told me since it's his senior year he wanted to go to HOCO. Sat we went down to Pauluccis thinking this late there would be no chance of getting a suit. They were very friendly and took care of us. As I stated before since he doesn't like dances I was quite surprised to find out when he went to put it on Sat night it didn't have a jacket. Ok...we made it work. 15 min later he calls saying the crotch ripped climbing into his friends truck. I knew then we were paying for the pants. Today we went to take it back and I simply just wanted to let him know what happened. As soon as I said I need to talk to him about it, instant aggression "yes, what?" So I mentioned it didn't come with a jacket, "they dont". Ok, thanks that's great. I then told him my son ripped the pants after 15 min. "Of course he did, so now he owes us for pants". Then started to very aggressively accuse me of mentioning the jacket in hopes of not paying for the pants. Excuse me? There were some other things that were very aggressive, and as mentioned, going forward i will drive to Spokane. I called and talked directly to see if some of the groomsmen for my wedding could get sized there (they live in a different area than me and we went local where I am from for the suits). They said no problem they would measure for free for out of town weddings. Then, my groomsmen went in to get sized and the owner called and yelled at them and then showed up and kicked them of the store because they weren't buying from them. They explained I had called and what we had been told but AFTER being measured (and wasting my groomsmen's time) the owner showed up and they refused to give them their measurements. We all would have been happy to compensate them for their services of measuring but telling people you measure for out of town weddings for free and then trying to swindle them into ordering all of their suits from the shop is very sketchy business practices. Would have given this place 0 stars if I could. Have to get measured for a friends wedding coming up and I saw they don’t do complimentary measurements due to covid which is fine. Offered to pay them to measure me which everyone knows who has been measured before it seriously takes a minute to do. Wouldn’t accept money from to get measured and was told they wouldn’t do it. They have a sign on the door that says “due to covid” well if covid is such a big deal to your store then why was I the only one wearing a mask in it? If you’re not going to measure people who are offering you money to take 60 seconds to give them their measurements then put on a mask if you’re so freaked out.
