Numerous issues. My girlfriend asked for clarification about payments and the office gave my girlfriend wrong payment information and now are attempting to penalize HER for their mistake. So after overcharging her because of their own mistake, now they also refuse to work with her to solve the issue, after assuring her that she WOULD be worked with to resolve said issues. When she asked for clarification, they refused to “discuss it further”. Now they are claiming that they don’t have all the information about her service animals when the they do. If they lost the information, once again that seems like their mistake. This is seeming alarmingly like discrimination.
More problems unrelated to that- constant plumbing issues- the sink and tub clog and it takes maintenance days or weeks to come. There have been kitchen appliance issues- the oven/the metal heater edge is...
Read moreI live in a housing controlled apartment and any time I need to get ahold of someone in this building they ignore phone calls and send you straight to voicemail all day till they close. If you go in person and try to talk to someone they tell you they are in a meeting from the time the office opens till closing time. The individuals working here must be just as lazy as most of the people living in low income housing. No one wants to be bothered or have to do anything. They just simply ignore you day after day till they don't have to do anything, regardless of how important your issue may or may not be. This is an awful place and it is a shame they are allowed to treat people like this. Years ago HUD would not allow this type of behavior. But now I guess its just the...
Read moreI have a friend who has 6 children and she tried to get into housing but was told the only ones to get preferential treatment are veterans. What about a woman with 6 children who is having her kids abused by their father and wants to get out of their home. She has nowhere to go but to be constantly afraid the children's father will show up at their home and cause further issues. I've worked with the housing authority for years in my employment and never had issues with those working there. When they lost Sue - they lost a very caring, committed employee. I've seen there have been recent issues that indicate they no longer care because of who...
