Used to absolutely adore this place!!! I started visiting when I was a kid, about 20 years ago already!! Lol. But lately, I can't seem to get there when they're open!! Hours are wrong everywhere they are posted! The last dozen times I've tried stopping in, my kids have been devastated because they've been randomly closed!! And to top it off, there is now a sign stating that they have gotten rid of the penny candy counter!!! That's the staple of the whole darn store!!!! Having the kids stand on the old wooden stool looking through the glass counter, excited as ever, picking out their candy is the point of the store period.
