I HATE to leave this review because I've been shopping here for years & used to really enjoy my experience! This used to be a great place to get great deals. However, My husband & I visited recently after a few months of not going & noticed prices are far higher. Basically the same as in the store, plus they add tax, so it's the store price, minus maybe a dollar or 2, but then it's covered in dust. There are tons of really cool things but the prices on some are just very discouraging.
(((My main reason for writing this review is because, at checkout, I was told by a woman who is normally very sweet to me, that "if you don't like the prices, just don't come back" with the straightest face ever. She was very serious. & It was very rude. ))))
This really caught me off guard because like I said, she was normally very sweet to me. We drive out of our way to go to this store, because we enjoyed going in the past, but honestly I don't know if we will be back, because what she said was very rude & uncalled for, as I was not trying to start anything. We really would rather support small local businesses than big corporations but, I did not feel, after that comment, that we were appreciated or valued as (long time) customers, & I suppose my money is also not needed there. As someone who also works in the customer service industry, I would NEVER speak to a customer that way. Regardless of what they said to me. & Again, I was never rude to her in the first place.
This is so upsetting to me because me & my, now deceased, Mother, used to go all the time & I have such great memories with her & Crazy Joe's. But I suppose I will take that ladies advice, & not...

They however only reached out to say they're not fixing anything because I left a negative review ...now say another lie Crazy Joe and I'll share the whole private conversation where you were "looking to fix the issue until I left negative review" Also was told it was the whole post 4 of 5 that was messed up but not one mention in the fb or group of this "technical issue". I’m writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent auction experience. I placed a bid on a baby bouncer online (FB) drove 30 minutes to Lexington to pick it up, and was informed upon arrival that the listing was incorrect and the item I bid on was unavailable. Instead they had a box of coffee on a cart and said thats what I was really bidding on. This caused inconvenience and stress not just for me, but for my pregnant daughter, who had been excited to receive it. They did offer me a ticket in a raffle since "I came to pick up my item" In times like these, small victories matter, and I was genuinely hopeful that I’d found a good deal. Having to break the news to her was difficult. I’d truly appreciate a gesture of a similar item to what I was bidding on, to help make this right and acknowledge this situation, not just I apologize. Rule 4 on their page states all items guaranteed for a week. So why wasn't I offered a replacement. Good thing I didn't pay first I would have a...
Read moreThe online auction seems to be rigged. When an item isn't selling for a good price the employees go up bid the item by 30 or more dollars. I've seen those same items if they don't sell to a customer on the auction weeks later. They also have the tendancy to give the bids to New customer rather than the one who got the last bid on time. Was actually told by an employee that they have to let the new customers win some too. Also have delt with rude staff. The buisness itself is a great buisness. Those in charge aren't running in a fair manner. Allowing employees to over bid looks bad. It's similar to insider trading and marks an ethical issue in my opinion. I hope they see that allowing their employees to take charge of their buisness and doing things out emotion and doing things slightly underhanded will cost...
