My daughter and I stopped in on a Tuesday morning after a doctor's appointment to browse some Prom Dresses. It was busier than I expected in the morning on a school day. The store was well staffed and despite the number of girls and their mom's, everyone was getting pampered by the staff. We were greeted when we walked in and given a short "walk thru" of the store. So many dresses! It's almost overwhelming, but with some guidance from the staff, we quickly found several sections that were my daughter's style. What I loved was the guidance that we got from the staff. My daughter chose some dresses that she liked, and I chose some dress styles that I liked hoping to find a compromise. We tried on probably a dozen dresses. The staff kept a sharp eye on her when she walked out of the dressing room each time, getting her shoes and jewelry so she could get a "finished look" to evaluate. They also quizzed her, asking her (and me) "What do you like about this dress?" "What do you not like about this dress?" They then would bring her another dress based on her answers. "Try this one!" I loved that they didn't choose based on the prices of the dresses. (which are reasonable!) They chose based on her style! It was so much fun for both of us! We found "THE ONE" and had it ordered. I love that we can pay the balance when the dress comes in, too! It should be here soon and we can't wait until prom! Thanks for taking such great care of us, and making "shopping for a prom dress" a wonderful experience, instead of a chore! We...
Read moreCall before coming...Miss Priss won't tell you to call before coming until after you drive three hours to shop that they're at building capacity and are adding names to a list with a 3-4 hour wait time. This business clearly doesn't care about it's customers, otherwise they would promote this practice on at least one of their social media accounts. Note that there are no COVID policies posted anywhere such as building capacity. When asked even the hostess didn't know the building capacity, but knew there were only 22 fitting rooms. And you won't even be allowed to look to see if they even have a dress you like that's in your size that you'd even want to wait several hours to try on - because they're at "building capacity". I'm waiting with my daughter for 3-4 hours because we're already here and will reluctantly make a purchase if THE dress is there and it can't be purchased elsewhere or online. But, if we fi d THE dress available for purchase someplace other than Miss Priss I would not hesitate to pay more rather than support a business such as Miss Priss that aren't social media savvy enough to alert potential customers to call before coming to add their name to a list. Or, better yet just start scheduling appointments like more courteous businesses such as Glitz in Nashville, which is where I wish we had gone instead....
Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience here. The store was cute and there were pretty many dresses, however, they didn’t have the amount of workers to accommodate the volume of people shopping. And the limited amount of workers were only helpful to certain girls. We got pushed to a back dressing room and we could never get to a mirror because the pageant girls took it over. While we were browsing we asked about a section of dresses and the worker replied to us…”those are couture!” I figured as much but she acted as though we couldn’t look at them bc maybe we were beneath that. When we did get an employee to help us, they weren’t knowledgeable at all about dresses we were looking to get. There were two girls across from us that were equally annoyed and one ended up leaving after being there for a very short time. We went with full intentions of buying a dress, but ended up leaving really frustrated. On a positive note, we visited several other stores in Ohio and found some great...
