A sister to A Cup of Commonwealth, Chocolate Holler has rapidly become one of, if not my favorite, places to get a cup of coffee. Their specialty is chocolate in all forms, so you should definitely drop in if you have a sweet tooth.

Their hot chocolate is some seriously next level stuff. I have a go to order of their Orange Cocoa with espresso and the consistency is astounding. Becca, one of the baristas and managers, is an absolute pleasure to chat with and the same goes for all of the other baristas that grace the counter. They are outgoing, friendly, and welcoming to the point that I often find myself chatting for 10 to 15 minutes at a time about anything and everything. I love this place and if you're in the area you should absolutely stop by and show them your support.

Another bonus: the atmosphere has a solid "study here into the waning hours of the evening, or sit and catch up with friends for hours" vibe. A definite...

I had never been here before but I was really excited to try it. I made a special trip to the Vine Street location and thought the atmosphere was cozy and inviting with different dark chocolate offerings, full size and minis as you walk to the counter. While the two workers behind the counter talked for a while with the lady in front of me, I patiently waited and looked around. But when I was trying to order, the man working walked away like he was not the one to take my order, so I told the girl working what I would like, and she brushed me off and told me to get in line and the guy would take my order. Well, I was the next customer in line, but two groups were being waited on by the man. I put my carefully chosen chocolate minis back and left. I was dismissed by both workers so I decided I don't think this is the coffee...

i am so disappointed in this coffee shop closing for multiple reasons. i have lived here for over a decade and always loved the coffee, vibe, and friendly service. but i also know this place is owned by cup of commonwealth and it is understandable why it is going under, after knowing the CUC managers and staff that tried to keep it running. first, the cup of commonwealth managers are absolutely incompetent and have zero compassion for anyone or anything if it doesn’t have a dollar sign on it. the amount of people i have seen rightfully bash emma or whatever her name is for her incompetence is completely in the right. second, i was in chocolate holler weeks before it was to close, and i actually watched managers leave two employees in the dust as a line formed out the door. shame on you, cup of...

Interesting place! I actually found them first on Instagram. My husband took me there for coffee on our 24th anniversary.👩‍❤️‍👨 The employees were super nice and very patient. They take time to explain their menu if you are a first time visitor. Their sipping chocolate is soooo good!! So many combinations that I'll definitely be visiting again.. with my teenage son's. 🙂 They also sell chocolates from around the world and t-shirts.. and they are the "hip" sister-company to the caffe "A Cup of Commonwealth." Great atmosphere. Nice layout. Definitely a young hang out spot. Lots of college kids there. They also have an area set up where you can print assignments. We were there on a Monday evening and this place was packed.. this should definitely tell you alot. 😊☕🍫

As a flight attendant I love exploring the towns I visit and try to look for very obscure and local places. On this day it was quite chilly and I was looking for a good hot chocolate. I looked around Google maps and found this place. It is very quaint with a very modern environment. There were so many hot chocolate options I didn't know what to choose! The team member I spoke to was very helpful and at the end I chose the Snickerdoodle hot chocolate. It was very tasty! The rest of the team I dealt with were very kind, from the moment I entered and given a warm greeting to the moment I left and given a farewell. I highly recommend this place if you need a nice hot drink on a cold day(they do serve more than hot drinks).

Chocolate Holler is not only in a good area, but it has more than enough room for me and my friends to study. They have a variety of my different drinks for people that include chocolate or no chocolate. They also serve ice cream which I will be back to try. But their items sold are just truly amazing. I went with my friend and she also mentioned how great the place was, and that she would be bringing her family and friends for homecoming week. They also have homemade treats on display. I had a confetti cookie and it was truly great. Lastly, the customer service was amazingly very helpful in explaining the different drinks as I was a newcomer. I would rate chocolate Holler and 4 out of 5.
