So disappointed! I really wanted to support this new, local bakery! I ordered 2 boxes of Christmas cookies to give as gifts. When I stopped by to pick them up around 1pm, the door was locked. I could see someone inside baking, so I knocked & mentioned that I was here for a pickup. They just looked at me through the glass & said we’re closed. The sign on the door said they closed at noon. No one mentioned this when I placed the order - I know bakeries usually close early, but noon seems extreme - especially during the holidays! So, I went back the next morning to get my two $27 boxes of cookies. No one greeted me upon entering. 5 people were milling about the front & one lady was on the phone. When I was finally recognized, I asked for my cookie boxes, only to be told that they didn’t have them. I guess they gave them to someone else. And they told me they could bake some more for me to pickup tomorrow!! What!? No one apologized or offered anything as a substitution. Nothing. Just - we don’t have your cookies, but we can make some more. No one mentioned when I placed the order or ever called, texted or emailed me to say - if you don’t pick up your order between 7a - noon, we will sell your cookies to someone else. We are leaving town today for Xmas, which is why I wanted the cookies - to bring with me, so I had to go elsewhere. Martine’s Pastries didn’t disappoint - they had an abundant selection of cookies, gingerbread houses & cookies, fruit cakes, pies and lots of delicious flavors, for a lot less than the $54 I was going...

What a great little gem of a place. I am always looking for a great scone and I finally found a great place for that craving! There isn't much to place and when you walk in it is somewhat underwhelming BUT the whole purpose of a bakery is to make great baked goods and that is definitely being done. I grabbed the Blueberry Scone and a coffee and because it was my first time in I also grabbed a salted caramel cookie to go. Starting with the scone it was cooked perfectly and slightly different than most scones I have had. It was full of flavor, not dry and shaped differently than the typical triangle being a square as pictured! The Salted Caramel cookie wasn't eaten until much later in the day and it kept wonderfully and was incredible tasting with an awesome blend of flavors. This place is fantastic and it will become a new place in...

Delicious cinnamon rolls and coffee! Hands down, best rolls I’ve ever had- and the coffee was definitely the best in Lexington. (Light roast/black)… And, I don’t know if the gentleman working there had a sixth sense that I had been having a rough morning and was running late due to a coffee disaster at home that prompted a complete wardrobe change as I was rushing out the door…. But, he gave me a hazelnut brownie to try- and it was unbelievable 🥰 We had a special team breakfast to celebrate 14 years of business today, and this definitely...

Have visited this place numerous times. Everything is delicious here. Mostly frequent this bakery for friends' birthdays and pick up an assortment of baked goods for them. Always have special cinnamon roll on the menu and several different types of scones and cookies. Everything is so fresh. Cinnamon rolls are so flaky, just the right amount of icing. This week's special was cookie monster roll and it did not disappoint. They now have a punch card for rewards
