I bought a refrigerator from Roy’s. After about two or three weeks it began leaking water from the bottom onto the floor. The refrigerator had a 90 day warranty. From day one it froze everything in the freezer AND the refrigerator. (Even on the lowest setting)The repairman came out to my home WITHIN THE 90 DAY WARRANTY PERIOD to work on my dryer and I told him at that time about the refrigerator. He told me he would get back with me about it but never did. I called and left a message but had no return phone call. So after the warranty the leak got worse and so did the freezing issue. I called and they came out I paid him 20 dollars to look at my refrigerator and they did not do anything to try to fix it except for tell me the part was going to be over a hundred dollars. I called yesterday and he told me to call back this morning. When I called this morning I was told he was busy could I leave a number to have them call me back? No I did not because they never call back. I am buying another refrigerator because everything in mine is ruined from freezing and I will not do anymore business up there. Which is sad because that is usually my first go to spot. I’m very upset about this. I have known Roy since I was 17 years old. I am so sad that I got the runaround. Me and my mom have done business there for years. I feel like they have changed and don’t care about me as a customer anymore. I especially feel like with our history I might have gotten fair treatment but anyway....
Read moreI went to Roy's to pick up 20 moving boxes I ordered through UHAUL.com, they gave me this location for the closest pick-up. Roy REFUSED to fulfill my order with his explenation being that he had to pay more for the boxes through UHAUl and therefore he could sell them too me at HIS price, but not fulfill the order I paid for online. The boxes were sitting there right in front of me, he even pulled my order up on his computer. I left after he refused to give me my order, UHAUL customer service said that was unacceptable according to their contract with Roy's, they are an authorized dealer/pick up. They refunded my order, while still fulfilling it elsewhere. Just really got to me that he is obviously just trying to make money and not what's best for his potential customers. DO NOT WASTE TIME PICKING UP UHAUL...
Read moreThis is by far my worst experience ever...Roy sold me a refrigerator for $170.00 bucks...I guess i should give you a suggestion to not go there the refrigerator that i bought leaks water on my food,does not have rails for condiments in the door,my wife opens the door to the refrigerator while cooking and the door falls off had to fix it myself...I have called Roy Atleast twice a week for over 2 months and he just avoids me and never calls back hes just trying to avoid me till the 90 day warranty is up.....This is a great Fox 8 story but i just want to be treated like a costumer should be treated...well all i say is goodluck with Roy my hometown...
