So absolutely worse day ever before christmas three of my small diamonds fell out of my wedding band, I was so upset so I layed iT on my dresser while he was in the shower to take and drop off to Jewelry ware house to have diamonds replace. He accidentally picked up a $5.00 ring that I had laying around and my granddaughter was playing with... he drops it off says this is my wife's and she needs the diamonds replaced. They took it and a few weeks later called said it will coast $150 he was like okay then we'll now it's January and I say hey have they called you yet ? ( he was doing it for me for christmas ) So today he goes and picks it up pays $150 and brings it to me at work ... I am like lol what? Haha give me my ring. What? this is it! No I say this is a 5 dollar ring ... he's upset I'm upset, no I'm flipping out crying I call jewelry ware house speak to the manager and she is like we'll your not getting your money back! I'm like what please take this back and keep the 16 tiny little diamonds this ring is all tured colors and scratched up. I said why would you not question that. She said I have no idea it could have been your dead mothers, I don't know.... I said just take it back and I'll bring my band and see if we can at lease make it work with my ring, no ma'am she says but you can bring your ring in! How heartless I ask to speak to someone over her... she said there is no one over me. Really? how about the owner? That's why he has me, to deal with people like you !!! I just hung up.... omg! I will never ever go here or any jewelry warehouse do the need 150 that much. You honestly should see this ring the silver band was turned green and grey and bent up .... why??? I can not reply to the managers reply below so I'm a by editing this, She definitely was now this nice on the phone at all! she was on speaker and everyone heard her in my office she was cold and was like, your not getting your money back! Yes they called and told him the price and he did ok it' but he assumed it was my wedding room at the jewelry store, when see a ring is turned horribly and bent and cheap do you not feel the responsibility to just be sure. Just say sir you are sure ? This ring is not real and we just want to double check. Becaise you specify said it was your wivessel wedding ring.and this is a 3 inch long turned, could bend it with your fingers kinda ring. I would love to meet your the expert!... you were rude no compassion . I ask could I bring my wedding ring and maybe you could help me get a slight discount or help me in any way and you said NO! you said you would replace it but that's all! $150 for a great and green ring! We took in my engagement ring (not purchased at Traditions) for a repair and stone replacement. After receiving the ring back, I realized the repair had not actually been completed. After a follow-up visit, they took the ring again to look into the previous repair, as well as a couple other things. After a few phones calls and another visit, we are satisfied to have everything complete on the ring and looking great!
My deduction of 1 star is due to the communication issues we experienced, which as a consumer I just would want to be made aware of as I consider my options for ring repair. Over the course of 3 visits, we had discussions about the repair that needed to be made; not until the last visit were we on the same page about what the original repair was. Between information being inputted into their computer system and what was hand written & diagrammed on the envelope they keep the ring in, none of the information was easy for another employee to read or decipher. A couple of occasions phone calls were not returned as had been stated, which resulted in us having to call and talk to multiple people, as well as one in-store visit. My hope would be the store would find a way to ensure that communication between client & jeweler is clear, items are being documented the same on intake, that they are being thoroughly being examined by those intaking the ring as well as the jeweler making the repair, and that notes are easily read and understood by any employee.
Otherwise Traditions would have a 5 star review for their friendly staff, and their care & patience with me as a customer! I very, very much appreciate them taking the time to make the situation right and that in the end we have a beautiful ring to...
Read moreMy wife and I were told that our ring was special order, and that it would take a month to come in. So 1 month to the day we called to find out about the ring, they said they didn't know and would contact us back. Well we were not contacted back, so we kept calling and we were finally given a date that it would be in and they would call us back. The date we were given, it did not come in and we still never got a phone call. That day I went in and spoke to the Manager and I was told it was because she was sick and it would be in the next day. It did come in the next day and they did call (like they said). This was the only time they called us. We were told that it was the place that they go thru to get the special order. It doesn't matter the reason why. If you say your going to call the customer back you really should. 1 phone call, 1 time would have made me a happy customer, but they couldn't even call once.
