My husband and I visited today and this was about our 8th time there. We notice most of their staff don’t stay long and are improperly trained. They go back and forth between tables asking how to ring stuff in, forgetting about most of their other tables. Today at lunch our waitress Victoria kept going back and forth between tables asking how to ring stuff in. She took 7-8 minutes to give me refills, and apologized about it. She then took another 10 minutes to bring us our check. The restaurant wasn’t busy enough to warrant the service and she even apologized and thanked us for being patient. The Mongolian Beef was so spicy I couldn’t eat it, but I didn’t want to complain. This isn’t the first experience where service was affected by people not knowing how to ring stuff in. The food is always so good for the most part so we keep going back, but I don’t think we’ll go back. When I called the restaurant the first time I got put on hold for ten minutes plus. The second time I called I got put on hold for 4:13 minutes. When answered, the hostess didn’t know what questions to ask about why I wanted to speak to a manager, and asked a lot of questions about my customer complaint and why I wanted to speak to a manager. When speaking to the manager, they offered no solution besides promising to train their employees more because it was Victoria’s first week. As a former manager and shift lead, I was not feeling like my experience was adequate. I even cried in the parking lot. My husband was hurt I didn’t say anything. I’m just not the type to send back food or complain about service. I’m just so sad about my experience today because as newlyweds we don’t go out much and we love the food here, just we hate the service. The staff should definitely use more training because...
Read moreNot what I expected. There are plenty of businesses around, so this should be a busy and well rounded lunch place. My wife and I arrived and got seated quickly. Besides us, 4 more tables where occupied. So not that busy after all.
My wife ordered one of the lunch specials from the lunch menu and I ordered sushi. The sushi arrived within 5 minutes. 2 roles and an order of Ikura (salmon row). After 10 minutes of looking at my sushi and waiting for my wives food, the waitress informed us that the kitchen was in the middle of an health inspection and that my wives food should arrive shortly. 10 minutes later we canceled my wives dish and shared the sushi.
The roles were good, not great, but ok, the Ikura, however was something els. The fish eggs where old and instead of having clean crisp eggs that burst in your mouth, I got fish egg mush. The same kind of mess you get when you leave a open jar of salmon row in the fridge for 7 days. The eggs open up release there content and you are left with a smelly slimy liquid.
I asked the waitress to bring the plate back to the chef and asked him if he would eat it. His replied to her, “thats the sauce!”
The waitress was the only positive thing about our visit. She really tried to make up for the mishaps and seemed genuinely sorry.
All in all a bad experience, that left us with a...
Read moreHad lunch with my family today. There was four of us. We all ordered hot green tea. Carmen our waitress made a point to let us know that it was per cup. I am cool with that, each of us were have hot tea.
When we ask for another pot of hot tea, we got the same pot with only hot water added to the pot. The 2 single serving tea bags were returned to us.
When I ask Carmen if they were fresh tea bag I was told she was doing it the way she was told to by the management. There would be an up charge of 1.99 for more tea bags. Now mind you there are four of us partaking of the hot tea
There has or will there ever be an endless supply of tea coming from those two single serve tea bags.
When I ask to speak to the manager on duty Sharon I am told was her name came over to our table and was very flippant about the way they do hot tea.
After a few minutes Carmen our waitress came over and apologized for the hot tea episode. A few minutes after that Sharon came over and said the owner offered us a hot tea to go.
We have already paid our check and preparing to leave the restaurant. If you really wanted to make it right you could have taken that tea pot to the back and added 2 more single serve tea bags to it while we were eating our lunch.
Moral to this monologue is for each of you to request...
