ALDI — Local services in Leyden Township

Rude customer service. I went to this store and purchased a lot of items totaling over $100. I got home and I noticed that the cashier scanned one item twice. Got back to the store and asked the cashier politely to fix it. I was told there is nothing they can do.I Asked to speak with someone else regarding this. A guy came to me and said that he will check who is right. He came back 10 min later (I was waiting in front of the registers) and told me that I am a thief because he checked the cameras and I had 2 of the same item. He showed me the the video on his phone that was blurry and you could barely see anything and said that he sees I had more that one of the same items. I told him that the other item was a different product that was scanned right after and he can see that on the receipt. He refused to talk to me, asked me to leave. I felt so embarrassed. He made me look like I was trying to steal something. I didn’t get my money back ($6.99) I will never go to that...

I love Aldi. I’ve been going there for a very long time. The only issue I do have with them currently and this may be due to inflation but their prices have risen and they are now at the point of other main stream retail grocery stores such as Jewel the line goes fast during check out and the selection is pretty good as well. Like I said, it’s a very good grocery store however, are used to go there for discounted groceries but now their prices have risen to be in line with the main stream grocery...

I’ve been shopping at this Aldi’s for a long time. I’ve always noticed how clean and uncluttered it is. But yesterday when I went to the line to pay , I’ve never seen the cashier blowing big bubbles with her gum I thought this was the rudest thing to do in a costumer’s face she never said hello when she noticed me looking at her I’m assuming my eye brow went up.
