Davan Countertops — Local services in Leyden Township

Davan Granite is a great choice when selecting a company to do your counter tops. Searching for a company is stressful...Anna at Davan made the process as stress-free as can be. I already knew what kind of counter top I wanted so this made the job even easier. I reached out to 5 different companies and some of these companies took a very long time to get back to me. Anna was very quick as I had a quote the same day I reached out and she didn't pressure me at all to sign a contract. Their prices are very good compared to all the other companies. A lot of companies are clearly over charging and getting away with it. Davan is not like that. They are very fair and reasonable. They scheduled someone to come measure and a week later, my counter tops were installed. I had back splashes of the same material as my counter tops going in but these could not be installed same day due to having to re-measure after the counter tops were installed and then going back to fabricate them. They were installed a few days later. No issue here for me but something to keep in consideration if you are doing a similar style. The two gentleman who installed were very nice and cleaned after themselves very well. At the end of the day, I have beautiful counter tops and a gorgeous back splash that I could not be happier with. Thank you to everyone at Davan for the wonderful results and I highly recommend anyone in search for counter tops consider Davan!

I found Davan Granite & Quartz from Yelp and reached out to them for an estimate. I already had an idea of the quartz I was looking for and was soliciting estimates from a bunch of places around the city. Anna got back to me with an estimate so fast and it was the most transparent quote i got regarding the cost of the slab, hauling away the old, labor, etc. I got about 7 quotes in all and came back to Davan since they had the best price. I'm so glad I found them because everything turned out PERFECT. After making an appointment with Anna, Tony came out to my apartment to measure- he was so thorough! He measured each and every area in my kitchen- we talked about where the seams would be the sink and everything. He's extremely knowledgeable and experienced. My kitchen is pretty good size for a Chicago apartment and the old granite had 5 seams! My new quartz from Davan only has 2- it's amazing. After Tony measured Anna followed up with me about an installation date, sink choice and re-confirmed where the seams would be. She was so nice and extremely fast with her communication. My quartz was ready and installed within 1 week! I even had a last minute change to the sink I chose due to the plumbing and she was able to change it for me last minute! I'm so thankful I found them and I HIGHLY recommend them. I plan to post some photos after my backsplash...

Davan was very pleasant to work with and reasonably priced. I recommend their services and would use them again for future jobs.

Anna was very friendly and quick to provide estimates and scheduling options for new Quartz kitchen countertops. She was also extremely flexible given the pandemic. She worked with us to find a weekend time that fit into our schedule to view the available slabs and sinks in their warehouse. The gentlemen who came to take measurements and remove/install the countertops were courteous and quick. Once we committed to the job, the countertops were beautifully installed within a couple weeks. Pricing was in line with other reasonable competitors and overall great value versus the big corporate service providers like Sears who quoted me at 3X the price I paid with Davan.

My only critique is that the men weren't wearing masks during the installation. I already had COVID so I didn't ask them to put masks on, but if I hadn't already contracted the virus I probably would have felt uncomfortable. We also needed to add a seam to one of the slabs after making our deposit for two seamless, L-shaped slabs. The team was flexible in determining where to place that seam to make it as subtle as possible though.
