STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION. I can’t even begin to say how pathetic my experience was with this store.
I get my employees lunch every day & once a week or every other week we get lunch here & the people taking the order always seem annoyed at our large orders. If my employees ever put off that attitude, I’d terminate them on the spot (you know, considering we’re both in the business of selling a product or service)
So of course, per the usual, the order was wrong. I called to give them a heads up that my employee was coming back & inquired as to whether this was a corporate store or a franchise.
When asking for the store manager the girl who answered identified herself as the GM. I asked her “is this a corporate store, or a franchise” she initially said corporate, then switched to franchise before changing her mind and saying corporate. I said alright, could you give me the corporate number? She proceeded to give me the same phone number (stores number) that I had just called. When pressed further- she gave me some 608 number which was the corporate help line.
I must say, the girls I spoke with at corporate were fantastic & very insightful. They informed me that it was in fact a franchise store and gave me the owners name.
I can’t decided what’s more disgraceful- the attitude of your employees when I’m actively spending HUNDREDS of dollars a month, or the fact that the self proclaimed GM doesn’t know whether the store is a franchise or not. That’s either the worst GM in history or she outright lied to me. Either way- surely I don’t have to tell you what a terrible experience that was.
Moving forward we’ll just go spend our money elsewhere & I’m not one of those people looking for anything for free, just figured this definitely needed to be brought to Guy’s...
Read moreToday was my first time at a Culver's. Tried the Franklin Park location, since I was in the area. I ordered a double deluxe with onion rings and a chocolate shake. Had to try the pot roast sandwich also, since I do love a good roast. The pot roast was good, but a bit dry for a sandwich. Needed some more beef juice or better yet, a splash of gravy. The double butter burger deluxe was ok. It did not live up to the hype. I have had better burgers at local hotdog stands. The shake was ok. Too thick to even drink at first, which is both good and bad. I mean we don't want a watered down, melted shake. Do we? No. But when you can't even get a taste by hoovering the straw, it might as well just be a scoop of ice cream. The star of the meal was the onion rings. Nicely crispy. Not soggy at all. Not too much breading. Not falling apart. So, was my $20 meal worth it? Not really at all. Very overpriced in my opinion. I'm not really a fan of fast food in general. From what I have heard over the years, I really expected something better and more reasonably priced. Could be my first and last...
Read moreUpdate: All I got was a lame apology, no offer to replace the terrible food that I was given. I understand mistakes are made, we are all human..... It's how those mistakes are handled that determine whether or not I continue to do business with a company, in the customer service here was terrible both during and after my visit! They just lost a star for their response!
The only reason why they even got a second stars because the burger was good. I ordered mashed potatoes and they were ice cold though the gravy was hot. And I'm not talking warm or cool. I'm talking like they just came out of the refrigerator. When I went around the drive-thru line again, just like the first time, they let everybody else wait at the window for their food but asked me to pull up. Not once did they offer to make me another sandwich since I had to wait so long for the mashed potatoes, the sandwich started to get cold. Not once did I get an apology for the cold food or for having to wait so...
