Last week was a disaster for me. My iPhone had a dead spot, I couldn't type in my password, my Face ID wasn't working and I couldn't get into my phone. I could only swipe to answer incoming phone calls.
I used my insurance to get a replacement and simultaneously deleted absolutely everything off of it trying to follow the websites directions in order to mail the old one in. First, I'd like to say that within less than 24 hours, a new one was mailed to my house. Fantastic and unexpected. Second, I went to this Verizon location to have a representative help set up my new one and only then was it that I found out that I had deleted everything without backing it up. Cue JJ Graham, my night in shining armor.
3 years of photographs and established apps were completely gone and I have to admit that I broke down crying right there in the store. I didn't even want to finish setting my new phone up at that point, I just wanted to go home and wallow in self pity. Despite my tears (and attitude), JJ encouraged me to go outside and take a deep breath while he took the time to see what he could do.
He was able to recover things on my phone all the way up to Feb 2023. Not everything, but boy was it better than nothing. It was photographed memories, written notes, phone numbers, and downloaded apps that otherwise would have been lost to the wind... all serviced with charisma and a smile. My biggest complaint (only) is, I am from a small town like many other customers around here. I plan my time and errands accordingly. I had to do something in Liberal at 8 oāclock in the morning. I looked up the Verizon store on Google and found their website and it says it opens at nine. So I ran a few errands to wait for it to open walked in (door was unlocked), and the young man told me to come back at 10. I said the website says you open at nine he said to come back at 10 and he would be glad to help me. As I go out to my car and Google it again to make sure Iām not crazy, I also see on the door that it says the hours that it opens are at nine. I took photos of the door sign, and the website time. Either you need to open when you advertise or change your signs and website. I wasted an hour doing literally nothing. And not just wanting to sell a contract.. both times that we have purchased from him we have been very satisfied! he always calls us back a few days later to see how the items we buy are working, no problems in our bills, this is definitely a first from that Verizon store.. keep up the good Work Josue!
