I. Cannot. Express. Enough. HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SALON. First time client here. so I just recently got my hair done at another salon that will not be named, where the stylist did not listen to what I wanted and I left hating my hair. I knew I had to fix it and decided to find someone else. Salon Capello was recommended by a few friends so I made an appt. with Annie. I can't even describe how amazing she was and how perfect for me she was! she listened to what I had wanted and fixed it with no problem at all. She uses my preferred and favorite products, Loma haircare. AND since she had snuck me into her schedule last minute, while she was doing someone else's hair as well, she apologized for being unprofessional and asked if I wanted to use her products and dry and style my own hair. (she would normally blow dry and style but she was slammed) unbeknownst to her, I literally, normally ask my stylist if they are okay with me bringing my own products and hair drier and letting me dry my hair myself there when we're done. it couldn't have been more perfect! I can never decide whether I want to go longer, shorter, or in between when I go in for a cut-- a total stylist's nightmare-- but she is always willing to take the time to listen to my concerns and thoughts, and to work with me to think through options and provide me with ideas, while never pushing me to go one way or another. While there are stylists who could cut my hair for less, Stephanie's care, consistency, and personal service are quite simply, unquantifiable. Lastly, I did want to mention two things: (1) I have never had product pushed on me-- a first for any salon I have ever been to, and an absolute a breath of fresh air; and (2) everyone here is always friendly when I walk in or call for an appointment, and I always get a call back if I leave a message -- insane customer service,...
Read moreI scheduled a hair cut and color over 2 weeks ago. When I made my appointment, nothing was said about having a consult before getting my hair styled like it states on their website. I specifically stated I had a short pixi bob style haircut. I was asked about my hair type which is corse and I have a lot of it. That was it. When I arrived, I was told by the stylist that she could not cut my hair. She was not comfortable cutting short hair. My complaint is with the person who took my appointment. You didn't offer a consult in the first place and you wasted my time and now I have to go find someone who can actually cut a pixie bob.
