What did I just experience? Sunday night 8pm, service was rude and rushed, but he did say have a good night?!? We are still confused and amused. The "Magic"guy prepared our food and threw it together like he was angry, forced to work past his shift, or it was his last day on the job. He didn't pay attention to the orders and when we pointed out an error, he literally removed served food from the dish that was mixed with meats and put it back into the food holder bins. Wow!! Never seen such a sloppy meal prep ever. Some ingredients had run out which shorted our portions. All bench seats were dirty and the AC was too cold. The flavors and food ingredients were only okay, not good or great. Price did not match the product. The chicken was out of inventory and he told another entering customer loudly that they were out of chicken. She said it's okay I'm not getting chicken he then said well I'm just telling you. Kind of an inappropriate exchange with a customer IMO. Perhaps "hot head" pertains to the demeanor of the staff working here. Interesting and...
Read moreFirst off masks were not worn, not one of the employees seemed to care enough about positivity. None of them were smiling or greeted me when I walked through the door.Young man who served me didnt ask me a thing about my bowl and what ingredients i wanted, was silent whole time, no smile no nothing...worst experience, the lettuce was brown and uncovered...not good..young man could have been a little more nicer and held a conversation instead of throwing things around..he just threw my bowl and fork into a bag and acted as if he were in a hurry to get rid of me ...such an inconvenience..One of the young ladies was also reaching over food with long sleeves, seemed to be helping personal family/friends...as they were BEHIND me and not in front ..i understand that people have bad days, but please don't take it out on your paying customers...its what makes your paycheck and keeps your business going...over all the food was good, but i won't be visiting again...
Read moreWe got a burrito, bowl and quesadilla. All three seemed to be about 60% of what I expected. All 3 consistently and obviously small when we sat down and looked at our $36 dollar dinner. Maybe they gave us the Lil' versions of these, but we didn't ask for that and we were charged for full size items. Tasted fine. Maybe there was a mistake and we were given Lil' versions.
Hopefully that, and not shrinkflation - if so, that is crazy because it was not even close to what it used to be. Like the food in the bowl didn't even come up halfway at the peak. And the bottom of the bowl is much narrower than the top, you know, so on a pure volume-basis the bowl was like 1/4 full. Half of that was diced tomatoes and lettuce! I should have taken a picture, dang.
Fact is, I would be better off with eating 60% less, take off a few inches and get in my 2023 jeans. So maybe this is good. But not at those prices! Even at the Lil' price this...
