He's got a fair bit of knowledge, is deft at connecting people with far-flung interests, and has seen & experienced a lot of different spheres of interest. Bring your shy son, your daughter who is not sure which questions to ask; Charlie is both friendly and diplomatic, so being with him and talking with him is never awkward. He is a great guy to ask questions of, and I have found his store tends to stock what I would like before I ask about it - the interesting stuff, which you'd say, "Hey, I was wondering, do you have.." and he'd direct you to where it's at. Read moreGreat comic shop. I've popped in here many times over the last several years just to brows and pick up a back issue here and there. Always felt welcomed and didn't feel rushed or watched. More recently, January 2025. I went in with a Marvel Spotlight #5 that I picked up on eBay. The guy at the counter was great. Gave me his opinion on what it would possibly grade for if I sent it for grading. Gave me his opinion on its market value and gave me an offer if I was willing to part with it. I didn't. Figures are also sold and range in price, some might cost a whole Nintendo Switch but they are the real deal.
Those looking for manga only have a small section so don't expect much.
