Hopscotch at the Coast — Local services in Lincoln City

Very disappointed with the service. Service is everything during this time in the world. I went into this location to get a last minute christmas gift, that I saw on line. I waited 3 days because google said they were closed. When i went in i was only one in there, I inquired about what I was looking for, she told me they sold out a while ago... oh ok saw on line. I would have come sooner but you were closed... she informed me they have been open 7 days a week for a long time now, and that it's now Christmas eve and things sell fast ;( but she will check inventory. As she was doing that a customer came in asking for a mask so she could come in, clerk stopped to open a mask for her (that's nice) but then proceeded to help her personal shop for what she was looking for and completely dropped me. I had other things i was looking for as well. I'm sorry to see such a cute place that i will not go back to because of this. Wish I'd gone to the mcminnville shop but i try to stay local. I guess my $$ was not as important as the $$$ money next customer was...

Sweet store for grabbing something special on vacation or on the road, as it's right off 101 with easy parking. We ran our daughters over to find some fun toys while grabbing pizza at Beachcrest Brewing; they have a nice selection of little things to entertain over a meal or in the car, in addition to all sorts of other items (beach house puzzles, anyone?). They also have AMAZING service. I had snuck back in to get a gift for my daughter and managed to drop some items from my fanny pack. Wow! What a whimsical shop with a fantastic owner. She was simply making deliveries when me and my kids wandered up to shop, but she 'opened' just so they could make their (slow) picks. It was even more of a kindness since we were with newly-vaccinated grandma we hadn't seen for more than a year.
