Hook and Slice Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Oregon

The restaurant is under very poor management. The manager, Kennedy, was on the phone with a friend while the two employees worked. The employees spoke little English and they had to read instructions on how to make a bratwurst and what to put on it (mustard and sauerkraut). After quite a long wait, I asked if the food was ready as we were falling behind. They forgot to cook the fries and did not have the bun, so I got a bunless bratwurst. Kennedy finally got off her social phone call and commented “What do you expect? We can’t turn and burn. We aren’t fast food! We aren’t McDonalds!” Stunned by her rudeness, I asked her name. She said her name was Kennedy and she was the manager. She then added that I would not be able to complain about her attitude or the poor service because her mom and dad own the restaurant. She then slammed the window shut and walked away. Wow….good thing mommy and daddy have your entitled little back, princess! They must...

If I could give this a negative number I would. How can you murder a hamburger? Well, they do. First you buy the lowest quality of hamburger possible, then you put way too much salt and other seasonings on it, then you squish it to death ! Boom, horrible! Oh, well at least I could eat a few fries before our $170.00 round of golf…..hmmmmm, not so. Unfortunately I still have taste buds and covering anything with too much cayenne is gross, hideous, distasteful to say the least.

TO THE OWNERS: BUY QUALITY MEAT, people that pay this much for golf DON’T want McDonalds. Hire chefs that don’t smoke and went to culinary school, they still have taste buds and understand dosing food in seasoning doesn’t...

Had a group of 8 people, most ordering the Fish and Chips with Halibut. The fish came out really, well, 'fishy'. Everyone noticed the smell was unusual but continued - not sure why. I sampled the fish and a fish taco, and neither tasted normal. Having eaten a lot of halibut, I don't think it is supposed to stink. Doesn't make sense where the overall quality seemed above average and the fries are the best I've ever had, seriously. I hope nobody gets sick. I understand their products are fresh, never frozen and I would like to hear an explanation.
