Needless Toys and Collectibles — Local services in Lincolnton

Nice inventory of toys which is obviously the two owner's main money maker and their main interest. Cool to look at as not many shops have the older vintage toys and the reason for two stars instead of one. The bulk of the toys are fresh from the factory, newest, hottest items. My interest lies with their comic selection which is nice and plentiful, however, the majority of the comic books (95% of them when I visited) are not priced. This means you pick the books out, take them to the counter, then wait forever for the owner to peruse eBay for what he will charge for them all the while telling you he will give you a better deal. I took many of them back to the long boxes as most of the prices were more than current market price. This seems honest for a shop just starting out and the guy was friendly but don't have them out on the sales floor if you're not going to price them. Time and travel costs your customers money. It's also not a good policy to bash FedEx for not delivering your toys (which couldn't be less important in the middle of a Pandemic) when one of their employees is in your store spending money. Doubt I'll be back, but, if you're looking for toys while traveling Highway 321 between Gastonia and Hickory this is worth a stop.

REPLY for owner: Do I expect comics for nothing, NO, but I still stand by my experience shopping there as far as comics are concerned. As for FedEx, how about some realistic expectations, my man? How about the supplier not promising items that they can't hope to deliver when promised? Just like ALL other businesses and medical offices are dealing with. Do they get blamed at all? Tried to sell my collection of Star Wars figures, over 700 figures, multiple gunships, AT-TE, etc. long story short, the owner told me he can buy the collection in two weeks, two weeks pass, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, no word from him. I message him to let him know I’m still interested in selling, only to be left on read. I sent him ANOTHER message the next day, asking to be at least acknowledged, just to be left on read again. So for anyone reading this, I would suggest you don’t waste your time with the owner. Don’t give him your hard earned collection. Give it to someone who can at least have enough respect for you to politely decline the deal. What a shame. I’ve spent a lot of money in that store, and to be treated like that by the owner ( I’m assuming) is disheartening, and for that I won’t be spending anymore...

First time going there, and have to say it was absolutely awesome to see the toy selection they have, ranging from toys you grew up with and toys nowadays. What’s even better is there prices are extremely reasonable. The best I’ve seen from a local toy shop in awhile especially on their more expensive import stuff. Not to mention both employees are very friendly and knowledgeable on there items as well. My favorite aspect has to be the fact that they have literally every range of figure you can think of and that they know how to price items correctly, and fairly.
