Exceptional Service and Quality! Publix at Paradise Crossing in Douglasville is hands down the best grocery store in the area! On all my visits, I was impressed by the cleanliness, well-stocked shelves, and the fantastic selection of fresh produce, meats, and bakery items. The deli section is my favorite – their subs are made to perfection and the hot food is delicious. A big shoutout to Bammy for her friendly service while going above and beyond making our sandwiches. I'm not very fond of this strip mall, I only go to Publix or very rarely but sometimes Subway. I usually only go to Publix grocery store to get my prescription filled and as much as I really don't care for this area, I really do like this Publix! The people are friendly, the pharmacy was super helpful. They saw that I was having trouble or that my son was being very impatient, he's 4 LOL so the lady called me over to the pickup window, so that I could go ahead and drop off my medication and get my son back outside. My last visit to Island Spice restaurant was awful. There was a young lady at the register who was so busy doing a TikTok on her phone she ignored greeting me. Another woman ended up taking my order. The music playing had every foul, cuss word in it. I do not understand being a place of business such as this and having that sort of music playing. I have been to this restaurant many times and this was the first time that the service was bad but this was also the first time that this younger person at the register was present along with her counterpart who appeared to be around...
