Painted Tree Boutiques - West Little Rock — Local services in Little Rock

I purchased a cedar board on Monday June 12th. The board will not work for my project. I live in Hot Springs and have to go back to Little Rock on Thursday,June 15th . The store refuses to take the return because it has been more than 48 hours and said their system will not accept the return, even though they called the vendor and he said he would accept the return. I ask if they would contact the vendor and ask him to call me to see if I could return the item directly to him for a refund less the commission he had to pay to the store. The associate said he could not do that because there was no way to log it into their system. I tried to explain that the store would not be involved in the transaction. The associate (manager) would not listen reasonably as I tried to explain that I would like for him to ask the vendor to contact me directly. He just kept saying over and over they could not do the return in the system. I have owned a retail store…there is always a way to keep customers happy and coming back. I would not suggest working at or even buying from Painted Tree. As someone who was previously employed at a connected company, and thus was overseen by the owners; I know for a fact they do not care. All they care about is money. If you search online, you will see the myriad of issues, lawsuits, etc that they have, and that their employees have claimed. If you're a fan of TikTok, check that as well.

Coming from an avid Painted Tree shopper between my mom and I, we were not impressed to what was compared to the Bryant store. Way to many clothing boutiques and not enough home decor. The shopping experience at Bryant was more relaxing and the service was friendlier. On top of that, some of the home decor was Hobby Lobby products that was twice the amount as actual Hobby Lobby prices. Quddos to the few booths that did come from Bryant.
