Legacy Wine and Spirits — Local services in Little Rock

Went in today and had the worst experience I've ever had. I needed assistance with finding a drink for my wife. Helpful staff led me to what I was looking for. She also checked me out. I declined the receipt and a bag. BIG mistake! As I'm leaving, I hear "You gonna pay for that!" I didn't pay it any attention as it doesn't pertain to me. Plus I'm helping someone get out the door with their buggy. I hear it again, "You gonna pay for that!" and I hear the clerk that checked me out say "he did!" As I turn around, all the customers at the counter is staring right at me. I felt so embarrassed. Honestly, this place is great! Their selection is fantastic, the organization makes sense and is easy to follow, it’s always extremely clean, the staff is friendly, and I’ve found some of them to be very knowledgeable and great with recommendations! I’m sure they all are from the experiences I’ve had with them so far. I go out of my way to shop here because I appreciate how consistent they are. And, more importantly, even though they have the facility and selection of a big corporate store, they have the care of a small town shop. They remember me and my preferences, remember my boyfriend’s preferences and give me recommendations for him that have always been a hit, and actually personalize the experience. And I’m not even in there that often! So I’m always blown away when they bring up things from last time and ask what I thought of the last...

In response to a request for more information I provide the following.

My main reason for stopping by was to look for a certain small batch bourbon, Rowan's Creek, to purchase for a friend. I was unable to find it or any other Willett bourbons available. I also noticed while searching the shelves that there were no Buffalo Trace products available for offering. I found that odd and a bit concerning.

As far as pricing was concerned, they were reasonable, I guess, but not great. I don't expect you to compete with Sam's Club, but some sale prices to boost sales would have been nice.

It's a beautiful store, and the staff was helpful. I guess I just expected a bit more as far as selection and pricing were concerned.
