Planet Fitness — Local services in Little Rock

Lot's of good things to say about this location. I was greeted when I walked in. She looked at me as she greeted me and had a genuine smile on her face.

This is the smallest location I've visited and I liked the vibe it gave off. The equipment was clean, there was good music playing, and it looks cared for.

The women's locker room was very clean. The shower floors were a brilliant white and the tile grout was clean. While it only had 2 showers, they weren't the largest I've found at some PF's, but for my fat a$$, they were very comfortable for me to freely turn around in while showering.

The shower heads in the handicapped shower were the highest quality I have yet to see. The handheld one actually has some weight to it and could be moved up and down the sliding bar to adjust the height. The best part is it actually stayed put. And you could adjust the water spray so you had 2 streams of water.

It was nice...UNITIL

The water temperature never got above 90 - 95 degrees. I was looking forward to a nice HOT shower. Nope, never happened. I started shivering towards the end. The locker room was a bit chilly to begin with, which I appreciate, but no hot water made for a less than stellar shower.

This location has no soap in the shower and no blow dryer.

Today 12/26/2024 i am traveling from Milwaukee Wisconsin to visit family and wanted to get my usual fitness routine and being close i activated my account at 5:25am and went the little rock location by 10 box, I came across an employee by the name of QUAN and finish my activation, I was accompanied by my wife where as my guest was asked to take a picture where my wife denied and I am aware due to safety one has to provide the photo but overlooking the Planet fitness policy it is not required, in the situation we were addressed in a rude manner where it made became tense and I felt very uncomfortable i was un able to focus mentally, I do not know how are the Training methods when training for front desk but in that role one should be the face of the company and also a people person for this person sets the tone and example on if one stays or leaves and with the motivation to return to the facility, sadly I activated my account and canceled my account membership in an hour. If we were addressed in a more kindly manner I would of reconsidered keeping my membership

Currently on the phone w someone who works front desk. Name begins with a D. I called to ask about rejoining--been away for about 2 yrs now and trying to get serious abt my health. When I asked her about any promos she paused for a long time like she didn't know what I was talking abt. Then she said "let me tell you about THIS planet fitness," as if they do things differently at this location (🤔). She proceeded to (badly) read the generic written statement probably put on PF's website. I tried to clarify my intentions by simply asking how much to join today she said around $11+change, then it went to $16+change and informed me that I would have to wait till october to get the $11+ joining fee. It's currently August (check the time stamp). WHEN I WAS READY 2 RESPOND I SUDDENLY HEARD TGE "PLEASE-HOLD MUSIC," which prompted me to write this review. Abt halfway thru I get hung up on. PF, y'all need to evaluate the staff @ this location (Geyer Springs) bc the customer service was terrible. Only reason it's a 2⭐ instead of 1 is bc I like PF--in the past. 🙄....
