If I could give this shop owner zero stars, I would. And judging from the other reviews, I am not alone. I booked a Groupon for a glass class at this location for my sister's birthday. We were really looking forward to it. I tried to book the class online but was having some difficulties so I sent an email to the owner. I heard nothing for 3 weeks and followed up. I received a text telling me to book online through the Groupon option. When i tried to do this, the next available class wasn't until mid Feb so I asked the owner if there was a sooner option. She told me to book through the calendar in which i told her i could not do that without having to pay. After some back and forth I asked her if we could get on a call as I wasn't sure she was understanding the problem I was having. She proceeded to tell me she understood everything just fine. After more back and forth and more confusion, i called her. I have never in my life been treated the way this woman treated me. A complete stranger. She answered with "WHAT".. not even a hello. I then reiterated the issue i was having, and she starts yelling curse words and walks away from the phone. I hear her screaming in the distance. 5 mins later she comes back and tells me that I was correct in having to book through the Groupon tab and no classes would be available until mid Feb. No apology, nothing. Same unbelievable rudeness like I have never experienced in my life. I told her this was a very uncomfortable experience for me and we would no longer be booking this class. She then harassed me with more text messages about how it was a bad experience for her as well. Which is crazy because I was extremely nice to this woman throughout the entire exchange. I have never experienced such a rude and toxic business owner in my life. I hope no one has to experience what I went through. Hopefully Groupon gives me my money back but honestly I don't even care at this point. I would literally pay to never go here. I hope this woman, named Roberta, thinks really hard about what she did today. And I hope everyone thinks twice before booking...
Read moreI didn't want to leave negative feedback, but Roberta's behavior compelled me. My husband gifted me a class bento gift card, and I was super excited about the glass mosaic class. However I arrived 5 minutes late for the class, and Roberta rudely yelled at me for being late. I apologized and took a seat. She asked us to pick a kit, but the instructions were unclear, and everyone looked confused. I picked a flower kit and took two colors from another kit, which seemed to upset her, but she said nothing.
The class was a waste of time and money; I could have done a better job with an Amazon kit. I still didn’t leave a feedback. When I returned today to pick up my project after grouting, Roberta informed me she had told Class Bento that I was late and used two kits. I reminded her I was only 5 minutes late , she said it was more than 5 minutes. Why the hell do I care if you’ve informed classbento? I’m the customer, I didn’t do anything wrong. The woman, who I am assuming was the owner, was curt and rude whenever anyone asked a question. At one point, when I went to help my friend, she literally swatted my hand away! This was a beginner stain glass class but she acted as if we were stupid about the process. When I stated the foil wasn’t sticking to the glass, I was told “do better”. Finally, enough of us complained that she replaced the foil with another brand. There were only 4 solder irons to use for the entire group of 12.
