I really hate to leave bad reviews at local breweries but I have to this time. The beer selection just wasn't to our liking. They are missing out on a lot of customers that like a darker beer. Their amber mexican lager was still decent but I wasn't satisfied with the other options. The food was pretty terrible, especially at that price point. The burger lacked any kind of flavor and we had to send nachos back twice because they put jalapeños on there when asked to keep them on the side. The first time we sent them back they literally just picked the jalapeños off and we could of course still taste it (one of us is very sensitive to spicy foods). They agreed to replace them but they were very bland with cheese that is likely from a can. Not at all worth the large...

Del Cielo already had a great reputation in the East Bay and their strong emphasis on quality is apparent here. The beers were fantastic, the beer-tenders were well versed and could provide incredibly accurate flavor profiles. And the food? Absolutely fantastic. We got the Cuban and French fries. Worth every penny. So much so, we’ll likely go back weekly. The vibe was relaxed and comfortable. It wasn’t too loud nor was it dark. Perfect for beer (or two) after work. Del Cielo was not only well worth the wait, from a consumers point-of-view, it was an upgrade. Absolutely well done. We’re thrilled to have a new brewery...
