HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My father and I booked appointments for my mother here for her birthday. I called and spoke to someone two SEPARATE times to schedule the appointments weeks in advance. I specifically told the lady that we were booking a spa day for my mother for her birthday; she booked the appointments, took down our card information and that was it. We thought we were all set; she did not inform us that anything else needed to be done. On the day of the appointment, they informed my mother that her services were not paid for and made her pay for her services in person after her treatment. My mother paid like she was asked to, and informed me that they told her she was not on the books. I immediately called the business to ask what was going on. I told the lady at the desk that my father and I had each scheduled my mother's appointments and put OUR own cards on file to pay. The lady informed me that they take down card information, but do not charge the cards until the appointment is over. However they did not even charge the cards on file, they made my mother pay for her OWN treatment. The lady told me that the only way we could pay in advance is if we bought a gift certificate for the treatment. She said she did not see a gift certificate on the books, and that is why she charged my mother. (When I originally booked the appointments, no one EVER mentioned a gift certificate to me). When I asked what the purpose is of taking down our card information if they're not going to actually charge the card ON FILE, she said she was "just doing her job." This place has HORRIBLE communication, and poor customer service. After hearing my frustration and confusion on the phone, she did not offer to let me speak to a manager. She did not try to rectify the situation. She did not apologize for no one informing me sooner that a gift certificate would need to be purchased in order to pay in advance. Her attitude was very, "this is what it is, and I'm just doing my job." The lack of communication has cast a major cloud on my mother's special day. Now it seems as though she is not appreciated and had to pay to treat herself. Read moreI really didn't want to leave a bad review, but when it comes to my hard earned money, I can't let business that play with my time and money slide. I booked a massage for someone last year 12/2023, decided to cancel due to that person getting sick and not being able to make it. My cancelation was well over a week before the appointment, but when I called to verify the canceled appointment they told me that the person I booked for was never on the books and my card was not on file, so therefore there shouldn't be any fees debited, and that was odd because I clearly spoke to someone, booked the appointment and gave my card details. So I took their word for it. Knowing this sounds fishy and I am going to pay close attention to my bank statements. The day of the canceled apportionment, there it was 205 dollars debited to my account! Now I know I look young, but I wasn't born yesterday. When I called back to make them aware, they sware up and down that shouldn't have happen, now I escalate this with my bank, since I did that now 2 months later they are calling me saying they are going to refund back to my card. That never happened. Then they say it's been To far out to debit back to my card they will issue a check. THAT never happened. Now they want me to verify that the debit was taken out of my account, so I provide my bank statement and circle the date and amount taken. Still having an issue with MY MONEY. Read moreUpdate: Russell is no longer working here. Every since the manager left, this place has been going downhill. They didn't call us (Russell clients) to let us know he left. We had to find out after arriving for our appt which was unacceptable, unprofessional, a waste of time and gas. Then have the nerve to say after canceling my membership, this serve as a 30 day notice. Of course they're going to try and get a last payment but it won't happen with me. This is your warning.
I would give 5 stars but unfortunately I can't. Russell is the BEST masseuse in the state of Ga and he's worth 10 stars. 3 stars only because of this location was terrible today. We (Me and Russell) were put out our room this morning for whatever reason. We were in the very front room, which was COLD, couldn't walk on the floor because it was cold, I couldn't relax or have peace because the train was on the tracks, you can hear every car passing and an employee was making noises trying to get the furnace, fireplace or something started. It was terrible. I hate I waste my time today. And the manager didn't even have the decency to let us faithful members know they closed the Hampton location. You all really need to do better with communication and put heat in that front room. If this happens again, I'll just cancel my appointment. We suppose to be relaxed and enjoy our time. Not freeze to death, unable to walk on the floor from the chair to the bed and hear everything that's going on outside.
