Tasty “N” Tempting Chicken “N” Fish — Restaurant in Locust Grove

Well well… The food is good here. One of my favorite wings spots besides slices pizza in griffin, ga. I called about catering for my mom’s 70th b-day 4 months out in Oct. 2024. She wanted me to call because she loves their fish is closets to ED’s fish in Nashville, tn. But I was told to call back in 15 - 20mins. Cool give you time to come up with prices for 30 - 40 people. So, I did standing on business. Well I got crickets. Ok, ya’ll busy cause the food good and fish popping out the grease. Call back 30 mins later… ok… yall really busy it’s “lurnch” time… no answer… ok then let me go ahead a place a order a hour later cause moms want some food anyway. Maybe AT&T down again… it’s just ringing with no answer. Naw naw black folks… can’t stand on business again. Why didn’t I have these problems in Tennessee? This spot is not good for catering for any event. They not gonna answer your calls back if you ask. Now I can’t even order from there anymore. Cause they won’t answer my number now. My experience today was not favorable. I ordered a three piece catfish fillet dinner with an extra piece of fish. I am disappointed with my dinner because two of the pieces were of a decent size but the other two pieces were very small. And considering I paid for an extra piece of fish I think that they should have realize that their fish is small and they should have either added another piece of fish or advise me in advance that the pieces were small. In addition, the amount of fries that they normally give was much less than usual. I called back and spoke with the lady and told her my concerns with my dinner, and she told me that I should have opened up my box at the window and let her know that the pieces were small, and that the fries were few at that time, and she would’ve given me more. I visited Tasty N Tempting while doing a small pop-up shop across the street from their location. This was the only food place in sight and I keep seeing so many cars in and out so I had to try it. I had the 2 piece catfish plate with coleslaw for the sides. I didn't get pics of that because it was so good and I ate it so fast. The fish was cooked to order and fried hard like I like it. It was well seasoned also. The food pictured was a plate the cashier let me try. I think she called them KD wings. Honey, garlic, ranch I think we're the seasonings. They were soooo good. Nice combo with the flavors. Those too were cooked to order and I liked that even though you may have to wait I prefer my food fresh. The cashier was so nice and sweet too.
