Sabrosos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Locust Grove

My wife and I stopped in for lunch. The chips were still hot and the salsa was good but needed more cilantro for my liking. It was slightly picante which was just right for me but a little much for my wife so she ordered cheese dip. Had the salsa been better I would have given it five stars. My wife ordered special 8 Sabrosos potato. She chose the Texas option and the food was very good and it was huge you must be hungry to eat this plate. I ordered special 10 the shrimp cocktail it too was very good. Unfortunately they did not have draft beer yet but they had good selection of bottled beers and they also had several types of wine. After reading the review of their Fresca margarita we ordered a medium one to share it was a good fresh not from mix but a tad sweet for my liking but my wife really loved it. We read a review that said you couldn't get alcohol before 5:00 p.m. but that's not true it was just after noon when we were there. My wife was wanting to try their cheesecake for dessert but after that potato she couldn't hold another bite and we had plenty left to take home. I will definitely go back again hopefully they'll have their draft beer up...

We are a large group of friends that eat out together once a month. A fun, nice way to stay connected. I must say I truly had a great time at Sabrosos from walking in to exiting.

Drinks, chips and salsa ready at request. And the margaritas were downright south of the boarder ‘Sabrosos’ The service was prompt, all of our ordered items from the chunky guacamole and my Carne Asada arrived in a timely fashion, were hot, cooked perfectly & ready to eat. Did I mention everything everyone ordered was incredibly good & plenty.
